underrated character breakfast???

Since we're talking underrated I will agree with others on Cape May. My boys are older now so we don't often do character meals but we've done all the character breakfasts except Bon Voyage. Occasionally we still stick one in and finally did Cape May for the first time this past July and we all agree it was probably the best or close to it! Food was excellent and the character interaction was great plus their costumes were adorable. It's nice and quiet but still fun :) Some may find it hard to get to or just a pain if you aren't staying in the BW area but since you have your car it'll be easy. We actually boated over for a later breakfast after morning EMH at Epcot.

So glad to see others mention Ravello- amazing food and wonderful character interaction! I don't know how to explain it; the atmosphere is so different- in a good way- than any of the other character dining experiences on property. Its great!!!

1900 Park Fare was a surprise to us. They literally had EVERYTHING you could want for breakfast it seemed. I've never seen such a complete offering of toppings for your omelet/breakfast burrito (avocado included- yum!). Also, red velvet pancakes, numerous other pastries, potatoes cooked 3 or 4 different ways--it was quite the spread!! The character interactions were fun, too. It's Alice, The Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins, Winnie the Pooh, & Tigger, I think. My insider tip is to schedule it at 11ish, so you get breakfast & lunch worth of food. We were full all day after that meal. 😋
Its super fun there! EVERY character meal we've had at WDW has been special, but Park Faire was really fun!

We really enjoyed 1600 Park Fare for breakfast a couple of years back.
I believe you mean 1900 Park Fare? :) This is a very popular place for sure. Many people love it. Me though, I didnt care for it. It was a combination of things. To each their own.

I think Cape May is a little hidden gem. Great food, beautiful decore, and one of the quietest character meals around.

Yep, I mistyped!

We love 1900 Park Fare but I will say we did Minnie's Seasonal Dine on a whim last week and it was wonderful! The characters were on top of their game and the food was surprisingly good.

Cape May. We went during our last trip with an ADR and had a great time, and then 2 days later while DW and I went to the Galaxy's Edge AP preview my parents took our son to Cape May again but this time just walked right up and got seated in 15 minutes. Gotta be underrated if you can get in with no reservations right??? :)

Another vote for Garden Grill, so much more private while dining, so much quieter & serene compared to the others. The food comes to you, no trips to a buffet. This location is not frenetic chaos like the others (but, I've done many & they can be fun too).

We had a great time at a late seating for Cape May. The characters sat & entertained our kids while we finished eating, they had nothing else going on.

It's been a very long time since our kids were little, but last year my husband and I did the breakfast at Akershus for the Candlelight Processional package. We actually loved it, the Princesses were so much fun, and actually spent time with us. My kids were so jealous when they saw the pictures! Service was great, food was good too. Not something we would do on a regular basis, but we both really enjoyed it.

Anotheor vote for Garden Grill here. It is great because it doesn't feel like the loud and hectic rat race other buffet places in the parks can become, between fetching your own food, dealing with that line, the characters roaming, and guests floating around vying for their attention.

At Garden Grill, you sit in a nice circular booth facing out from the outside of a circle, you can only see whats right in front of you (scenery from Living With the Land ride), plus servers and characters - and when characters come, its just your table and them, and it feels like a private interaction. During our meal, there was ample time for all characters to make multiple stops. And the food is brought to you, so no wondering around (and they will still bring as much as you want).
