anybody got an underrated character breakfast we should try? done chef mickeys, and looking for something new! staying @ all star movies. will have our own vehicle, and will travel by minnie van.

The most underrated is probably Cape May.

Most of the major breakfasts have fans - Tusker House is delicious, Bon Voyage is good, Crystal Palace at 10:30AM is good fun. Garden Grill may have some of the best character+food out there for breakfast, as the restaurant shape makes the character interactions very private.

I think 'Ohana is a bit overrated. Chef Mickey is wildly overrated.

We really enjoyed Bon Voyage at Trattoria al Forno at BoardWalk. We took a mini van to the Boardwalk and had our breakfast. Then it is a quick boatride or walk to Hollywood Studios or EPCOT. Our kids are teens and my daughter is pretty much over the whole character meet thing. It is "awkward", but even she enjoyed this. They are very personable and the food is really good too!

We ate breakfast at Garden Grill for the first time a few weeks ago and loved it!

Our favorite is Tusker House breakfast. Food is really great and kids loved the character mambo line when they were younger. It is our one must do.

But hey, everyone, Tusker House and Garden Grill aren't "underated." In fact, they are pretty popular and, especially Garden Grill, pretty highly rated (especially from Disney Food Blog).

I think this thread is for those quiet but awesome character breakfasts that don't seem to get much social media love or reviews.

Sorry, not trying to be a "moderator" here... :o

Another vote for Cape May and Garden Grove at the Swan.
I want to try Ravello's but it's a super Cha-CHING compared to others.

Yeah, I wish I hadn't bothered trying Ravello's. The french toast was very good, but IMHO all the other food was just OK. Also the location can be harder to get to. Ended up not being worth the price to me.

1900 Park Fare was a surprise to us. They literally had EVERYTHING you could want for breakfast it seemed. I've never seen such a complete offering of toppings for your omelet/breakfast burrito (avocado included- yum!). Also, red velvet pancakes, numerous other pastries, potatoes cooked 3 or 4 different ways--it was quite the spread!! The character interactions were fun, too. It's Alice, The Mad Hatter, Mary Poppins, Winnie the Pooh, & Tigger, I think. My insider tip is to schedule it at 11ish, so you get breakfast & lunch worth of food. We were full all day after that meal. 😋

Ooh no. Looks like 4 Seasons character breakfast is getting lots of attention recently. If it gets to much press it will be one of those 6month ADRs. We had 4 character breakfasts on our last trip we thought Breakfast with Goofy and Pals was the best (in terms of food and character interaction). I wouldn’t call it under rated, I would think it’s a hidden Gem. Only issue is they operate the character meals 2 days a week. Not ideal for many.
