I'm such an odd shape (38DD and pretty straight between hips and waist) that I ended up going to Nordstroms and getting remeasured for a bra. My dress is strapless and I went with a merry widow-type thing. Surprisingly comfortable. And it gives a little bit of extra support so I don't feel like it's falling off. Not a good feeling on your wedding day!

Also...I'm looking for a cheap SUPER full petticoat (crinoline i think??) any suggestions? I think online would be very cheap...but is that dangerous without seeing it in person?

I've been told Craigs List is a great place to go. Since it's in your area, you could check it out before buying as well as avoid shipping costs. I've seen a ton of crinolines/petticoats in my area....

My seamstress said I could sew in cups instead of wearing a corset or strapless bra. I don't have very big ****s so it could work...but I tried on my dress with a corset so I'm not sure how just cups will work...we will see!

I've also heard bare necessities is a great store for things like this.

I had cups in my gown and it worked great! I also had a corset dress and it never once budged - I actually spend $78 on a corset at victoria's secret and returned it. Do it! No worries on that end.

And, I also bought my crinnie online for $29.99. It was great - it was so cheap that if it wasn't perfect, I wasn't going to freak out but it turned out awesome.

my dress will have staps and the dress already has padding. I am a 36 DDD and I just do not want to fall out.

Oh that sounds great!! I think I may go that route with the sewn in cups.

The corset built into my dress is amazing!! I won't have to wear anything underneathe aside from underwear. And I'm no small girl up top, so this was a HUGE issue when I went looking at dresses.

I have a dress with a corset back and have bought a strapless bra to wear. I never go without a bra and I didn't feel comfortable without one,although it looked fine.

My bridal shop said they can sew more support or shape in the top of the dress if I wanted to do that instead, but the strapless bra looked fine under the dress.
