Well she certainly hasnt hung around for 34 years because of my looks.

I wanted to get started on the Report this morning, but the home nurse requested she visit this morning instead of Monday.
Seems she's having a difficult time controlling herself around me and thought it would be "safer" if Underdogs "Sweet Polly" was home.

Loving it. We are taking our first cruise in March. Well the kids and I. Dh is in the Coast Guard so he has been on many cruises. Really looking forward to this one because he won't have to work. Can't wait to hear more.

the fish extenders are meant to hold little gifts that are exchanged between people on the dis who participate in what is called "Dis Tag".
we've done it on 2 of our cruises and its a lot of fun.

By the time she left today, our son, daughter inlaw and grandkids stopped by for a visit. We didnt get a chance to see them over the holidays because they were in WDW, so we celebrated Xmas today with them.

I agree after wiping my tears away from the gangplank video I have been on the cliffhanger all day waiting to hear more....the suspense is killing me. These TRs are better then soap operas....

TUESDAY OCT 27th

We were up at 5:25 this morning because my lovely wife "doesnt want to miss anything".
She wanted to see us rolling into St. Maarten and see the sunrise. It was a little cloudy in the morning, but we went out and she took pics, while i had my morning shoot around at the bball hoops.

We got up early to see this sunrise??

Somewhere around this time i lost my "key to the world card" out of my lanyard. It appears i didnt have it closed all the way and the wind somehow caught it and blew out the card. In a panic, i headed down to guest services and they got me a new one. By the time i got back up to deck 10, someone had found my old one and asked "are you Mike?"


While at guest services, i asked about moving to a new cabin because our neighbors were still arguing ALOT!!, and were afraid when they finally "made up", we'd hear things that wernt proper on a Disney cruise.

Guest services told me they'd get us moved sometime today. (we secrectly hoped for a porthole, but that didnt happen)

St Maarten is very nice. We've been here before and enjoyed just walking around a little close to the ship. While other bobbers went out on excursions we stayed close by. Robins knee had been bothering her anyway
so we didnt want to do too much walking. (note the ace bandage)
Being Underdog, i could have carried her around, but i didnt want to reveal my true identity.

Word on the street is that there is another side to this island where it is "swimsuit tops optional" and i really would have liked to ventured out in search of this marvelous place, but being the gentleman i am,, we stayed nearby.

you know how the "salesmen" hound you in the ports? well i snuck up behind bobbers Rose and June and asked if they'd be interested in free jewlery.

These poor guys probably thought we were stalking them all week.They had to be sick of seeing us by the time the cruise was over.
We ran into them in port. I have a video where you can hear Nancys son Tony say " not mike again! Robins ok, but that mike is really annoying".

Just kidding guys!! We were lucky enough to visit these guys last summer in WI and had an amazing time!!

It wasnt till later, after we had returned to the ship, that i was informed by Nancys husband Chuck/Tuna that a lovely lady was indeed "topless" on the
beach we had been walking on just hrs before. Opportunity missed. He said "they wernt real anyway". But i bet they were "spectacular!!!" Somehow, regretably, he had no pictures to show me!


So we made our way back to the Magic and got some of things together for our "move". We ended up getting moved to 7065. We're moving on up!!!
No free porthole, but at least it was quiet the rest of the cruise.

Tonight was Pirate night (and mikey likey the wenches)
We took lots of pictures of our dis friends this evening.

At dinner, Scotts Captain EO (at least thats what i called it) uniform, recieved a 10 from Robin and Heather.

Not to be outdone, Underdog gets a smoocher from Scotts wife Lori.

My search for the mastermind behind the RedBr@ FE was getting nowhere. I talked to cruise director Clayton about the possibilities of using a lie detector, but he informed me they didnt have one.
Clayton told me if needed, he could begin looking at the surveilance tapes from the hallways of deck 5. I thanked him and told him i'd let him know.

After the pirate party, we decided to call it an early night (for us anyway) and we went to bed at 11:15.
Our new cabin host made sure Underdog and Minne as Big Red were comfortable too. They must have been because they too brought home a little souvenir from this cruise. Just like Tony and Stacy

WEDNESDAY OCT 28th

St. Thomas.

Slept till 7 then met Walt & Di for breakfast. This was our 3rd cruise with these guys. We first met on our 2005 DCL Eastern and have been friends even since. We were even lucky enough to have them visit us in Ohio this past summer as part of their crosscountry Harley trip. (Di loves the Amish folks, eh Di ?)

We had decided we were going to "go all out" and spend the $30 for the tram ride overlooking St Thomas (and the Magic)
Underdog "spares no expense".

After the SkyRide, we did a little shopping. Robin couldnt resist.
And i couldnt resist singing "Oh I've got a lovely Bunch of coconuts".

Some of the local taxis were really "made up".
Seems there are a lot of "Diet Pepsi" drinkers in St Thomas. note bumper sticker.
Thats an old theory that Bobber Rose came up with. Diet Pepsi drinkers are Dems while Diet Coke drinkers vote Rep.

After shopping a little, Robin and i headed back to the ship for lunch.(her knee was bothering her.) Walt and Di took a taxi to the Harley Store in St Thomas.
