Undercover Tourist

It doesn't sound like UT has anything to do with you not having the tickets. The post office tried to deliver them and they have them, from what you've posted. It's the post office issue, not UT. I would keep calling the post office and see what's up. Especially if you know they tried to deliver them last Friday and your mail carrier didn't leave a note. That's nuts.

I realize that it is a USPS problem. I was wanting UT to A)know that I was having an issue in case they get lost. B) offer suggestions on how to rectify the issue with the USPS.

Three weeks ago when my tickets arrived USPS required signature. Since no one was home I had to pick them up at post office. They left a slip in the mailbox. I always buy from UT, very reliable.

Thank you! We are staying off property, so this may be the way to go! Is there an undercover traveler board on here anywhere? I'd love to hear from more people who use it.

Just used them for tickets for a trip in May. I was in Orlando last week, and decided to upgrade my annual. No problem using the UT tickets to pay for a portion of my annual pass. Tons of people use them and this is an excellent company.

Is there any catch to ordering from undercover tourist? We're planning on going in December 2019 and there are 4 day tickets (1 day free) for a total of 5 days and it would save us $83.49. We could even the +2 days free and have an extra day in the park. If I bought now through Disney, it states our first day of use has to be by December 31, 2019, which is fine for us. Is that the same for UT? How are tickets from UT refundable but Disney world ones aren't?

I guess the big catch would be if you are staying on property or not. I'm not. I do believe UT has a restocking fee if you do return them. I'm also a little stressed about them not arriving on time. Other than that I think UT is a great option. This will be my first time using them for Disney. I did use them for US a few years ago.
? Not sure how staying on property or off property matters. There's no catch, period. People staying on site can purchase them too.
No reason at all not to purchase from UT. They are an authorized Disney ticket reseller. There are no problems with their tickets and if there is some rare glitch, your issue will be handled. Disney stands behind their authorized resellers. Key being always work with an authorized reseller. If you do, you are safe.
I always get E-Tickets so there are never any delivery issues to concern myself with. But I never plan to return the tickets either. Even if we don't take a planned trip we just save the tickets. We'll use them eventually.

We've used UT many times, but this trip was the first time we had to sign. I just went to the post office (we live in a very small city) and picked mine up there with the little "missed delivery" note. Easy, easy. In the past, our tickets were under $1200, this time the value was almost $1800. I wouldn't just leave that in someone's mailbox either.

I ordered five 7-day park hoppers from UT right before the price increase. The total was about $2300 and they just left them in the mailbox. Signing for something is a pain, but I would have been happy to do it because that’s a lot of money to just leave in a mailbox.

Well I got them. The weird part is that I had signed up for text alerts. I got an alert at around !:20 saying that my package had been delivered and signed for. I assumed that it had been good timing on the mail carrier's part and they got there when my daughter came home for lunch. I sent her a text to see but she doesn't typically look at her texts at work. I wait until my other daughter got home for school and asked her if they were there. She said they weren't. After work I go by my daughter's work and ask if she had signed for them and she said no. I immediately attempt to call the USPS but of course it absolutely impossible to speak to a live person. It turns out my second DD looked everywhere but the mailbox which is where they were.....Sigh.

Still not happy with USPS for saying they were signed for when they were not.

Also for those of you asking about UT refund policy this came in my package:

I had been all excited about linking them tonight but now I feel like I need to wait until the last minute just in case.

In addition, there is a 5% restocking fee (if you decide to RETURN the tickets and not use them) that is not mentioned on that cover sheet.

If I buy the 4 day PH with a free day so really 5 days, and decided when i'm there to add a 6th day, will disney charge me to add 2 days or 1?

The "4 day PH with a free day" is NOT a 4-day ticket in any way.
It is just a regular 5-day PH ticket.

(The "with a free day" is just an advertising gimmick to sell a 5-day ticket with a slight ($15) discount.)

Upgrading by a day will be adding a 6th day to a 5-day ticket.
