Try upgrading at one of the MAIN theme parks Guest Services location. For some reason the people at the DTD location keep getting this wrong. This is the same problem the OP had from the SAME location.

The problem was, as it seems, that no CM's outside of the parks are aware that UCT is a valid ticket vendor. I have suggested to Ian that he contact Disney and advise them of the same.

As for Kim&Chris - so glad everything worked out for you.. and very happy to play even a tiny part in helping.
