We have dated tickets for mid-May, bought from UT. Have tried to call UT all morning to only get a busy signal, so thought someone here could help. :) If you have already linked UT tickets to MDE account for Fastpasses, can you still get a refund for the tickets? Need to link them by tomorrow morning for FP, but not if it invalidates the 90 day return policy. I don't "think" it does, but want that option open just in case . Thanks!

Hi There,

Please know that our team is working as hard as it can to get through all the emails.

Please try and hold off contacting us unless you are traveling within the next 7 days going forward. If you are please EMAIL with the subject line URGENT as we are trying to triage the incidents. Please know that many cancellation policies are being relaxed by the parks and we will take care of you!

Thank You

Ian

Normally UT can't refund linked tickets.

Yes, they can. Depending on what type of ticket you purchased and when your 90 days from purchase started.

Not really sure the logic behind, E- tickets not being refundable, never understood why as you can prove if they were used or not. A refund due to a National Emergency and the parks closing should be the right thing to do no matter policy....

Thanks to everyone including Ian and Undercover Tourist. I have a May trip planned and feel better now knowing that if WDW is closed and I have to reschedule that they will assist me. I appreciate the information and the great customer service.

I’m in a similar situation in not being able to reach Undercover Tourist regarding our trip this week and tickets I purchased for Universal Studios Orlando. Does anyone know if I have the buy 2 days get 2 free promotion e-tickets if I’ll be able to apply the value beyond the 12/18/20 expiration date if we go next year? If anything, I would like to apply them to buy new tickets if they truly expire. I would prefer to request a refund, but I already linked my tickets in the Universal app. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I’m also unable to reach them to cancel our rental car and hotel reservation to get a refund, and our trip was booked for this week!

What if you cannot schedule another Disney trip this year? What happens to customers like me?? just lose the tickets and the money ?

This was us too. I posted above, but to repeat, we were issued a refund by Disney - not UT - in the form of a non-expiring gift card. This was about a week ago now. Of course a true refund would have been better, but this worked okay for us.

Hat's off to Undercover Tourist. Somewhat rare to encounter such refreshing transparency regarding resource constraints in the midst of this national emergency. It's why we used them for our May tickets. I knew we'd be taken care of, whether by way of helpful info now or assistance with a refund or credit later. For now it's fingers crossed for mid-May but prepared to reschedule if necessary. Stay well everyone!

I agree! We always use them and have never been let down either. This is a crazy time for everyone and there are no easy or quick answers, but they are reaching out to customers (us included) to reassure us that they will work with us.
Our trip isn't until May also, and we have no idea what will happen. But knowing UT will help us out takes one thing off our minds for now. Especially since our state just locked down for the next two weeks and we're just trying to navigate that right now.

I know the situation with Park Hopping is still "fluid" but has anyone had a conversation with a rep from UT regarding what their policy is (or would be) for the cost of the PH add-on *IF* it turns out that there is no hopping allowed by WDW during your trip? I bought our four, 8-day hoppers back in Feb before Covid was the beast that it turned out to be.
