since disney raised prices today, how can I tell if undercover tourist did too (without having a screenshot of yesterday’s prices at UT). I will buy tix today if I can get the cheaper ones!

I can tell you that at this moment, the tickets I’m looking at for late August are the same today as yesterday.

They did send an email today about the increase and once their supply at these prices are gone, they are gone.

Can the start date of the mailed tickets be changed after purchase if we decide to go in 2020 instead of 2019. Also, I am purchasing 7 day mailed tickets for August 22. Can you confirm that I can use these 7 days anytime in between Aug 22-31 even though I didn’t buy direct from Disney.
Thank you!

2-Day Ticket Any 2 days within 4 days beginning on the start date
3-Day Ticket Any 3 days within 5 days beginning on the start date
4-Day Ticket Any 4 days within 7 days beginning on thestart date
5-Day Ticket Any 5 days within 8 days beginning on the start date
6-Day Ticket Any 6 days within 9 days beginning on the start date
7-Day Ticket Any 7 days within 10 days beginning on the start date

They are currently the old prices until their current stock is sold out.

This happens every price increase.

What happens if you miss the day/time period or decide to go/start on a different day? Can't find any info on that. Just a question in my head

As I recall you have to get a new ticket and the price of your current ticket is applied as credit towards the new ticket, if less expensive I don't think there is any refund. But I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong.

If you wish to start on an earlier date, you would need to “upgrade” the tickets to the new start date. Same if you wish to start at a completely different set of dates. You’ll be credited for the value of the tickets you hold, and pay any increase if necessary; no refund if the new dates are less expensive.

If you decide to start a couple of days late and extend your last date in the parks - how that is handled may depend on the length of tickets purchased and whether you originally had non-park days planned. Each ticket has s valid “use window” of 1-4 days longer than the number of ticket days. Example, a 7-day ticket has a 10- day valid use window. If your new dates still fall within this use window, you’ll be fine using the tickets as-is. If your new plans extend outside that window, you can 1) change the ticket to the new dates, or 2) add an extra day or two which may extend the use window, or 3) add the “flex” option which gives a 14-day window from first use (and ignores the original dates completely).

Enjoy your vacation!

Our tickets are in effect Disney tickets. You can change the start date (as the original value is held not lost) but as they would be technically expired, you would have to do this Guest Relations, so if you want FP+ reservations you would want to get those tickets physically to WDW guest Relations 30 or 60 days before your FP+ window.
