Undercover Tourist mistake?

So I am doing a little leg work for tickets for a trip in December. I have used Undercover Tourist in the past and went on the site yesterday to price tickets. They are advertising a 6day Park Hopper for $310.95. Next to the price it says "$23 savings (Adult) off the gate price". So I went to the Disney website and plugged in the same ticket. 6day Park Hopper and it gave me a price of $314! That's not a $23 difference. Does anyone know what's up? I was going to call them but I'm not ready to purchase the tickets I just want to know what the deal is.

Undercover tourist includes Tax in their price listed. Disney does not. I think that is probably the issue.

From what I understand Undercover Tourist prices incude all taxes. Did the Disney price you quoted also include all the taxes? If not, that may be where the missing savings are.

You were right! When you go to checkout at Disney the price changes from $314 to $334! TAX. Thank you!

The Mousesavers website tells you how much the ticket price would be at the gate, including tax. I usually look there for comparison purposes before buying from Undercover Tourist.

This post made me realize that I haven't received a mousesavers newsletter for several months. Guess I need to re-sign up!

It is just a link to the UT website. It is only a couple dollars off but when buying multiple sets of tickets it does add up.

I would be buying 8 or 9 6 day PH. SO it will add up to a little bit of a savings. Anything to lower the cost of the trip so I can spend more while I'm there!

I just ordered my UT tickets last weekend and always compare them though WDW and view the cart to see the total with tax. I ordered the 7 day base pass which has a bigger discount off of gate price. If we add hopping when we arrive it's actually cheaper than if I bought the 7 day hopper from UT from the start! check yours out too OP and see if it'll be cheaper to add the hopping later....assuming you will travel before they raise prices again!

Just came across this thread.........ugh more ticket number crunching! Seriously though I think you do need to look at all the options. Prior to me clicking on this thread I thought that 6 day PH from UT and adding a day later was cheaper than the 7 day PH from UT. Now back to the numbers....

With the Mousesavers link the 6 day park hopper is $304.95. If you buy from UT, you can take your tickets and have them put on your KTTW card at the hotel right at check in. That way you don't have to carry around a separate ticket. 8 tickets with an additional $6 discount is an extra $48 dollar savings.

I too signed up again realizing I have not gotten it lately and I got the same message - weird I never filed a complaint
