I'm getting ready to buy my Universal tickets. How safe is it to buy them from Undercover Tourists? I've never bought any theme park tickets from anyone other than the actual theme park, so it makes me a little nervous. But, if I buy 2 day park to park tix from Universal, it's $1089, from Undercover, it's $898.

Would love some input...thanks!

We used them 2 weeks ago - got the tickets in 4 days in the mail :)
*it was my first time using someone other than a companies website too and I was a bit nervous. I was exceedingly pleased!

We bought our Disney tickets through Parksavers and we are going to buy our Universal tickets through Undercover Tourist. I have heard nothing but good things about them and I always listen to macraven she has NEVER steered me wrong.

They are totally legit. People on the WDW side of the dis have been using UCT for years. The company has actually helped work things out with WDW when WDW CMs have gotten things totally wrong. Really good company.

We use them all the time for park tickets. We recently upgraded our 2 day park to park hopper with a 3rd day free to an annual pass and cost us nothing extra. They have since upgraded annual cost pass to $20 more. We got a great deal at the time and it was well worth the upgrade. We used our tickets first before upgrading. (thanks DIS for that info)

slbgnb, hope our statements have encouraged you to know that UT is a fine company that has been around for many years...

when this many posters share with you that the company is a money save, you have no worries about using the 3rd party vendor.

Can we take a step back and discuss this? That's a big difference, and it's far more than I would ever expect. Apparently I was asleep when I responded before b/c I didn't notice this.

What combo of ages are you buying for? I'd like to make sure you're comparing apples to apples.

ETA: I can get 897.56 from UCT (which is just about the 898 you mention) with 3 adult and 1 child 2 day park to park.

When I enter the same combo into UO, I get 926.51 including tax.

A nice difference, but not what you're seeing.

ETA again: I get 1089.95 SUBtotal on UO when I enter 4 adults and 1 child. 1160.80 with tax. That's as close as I can get to approximate the price you're seeing for UO, but that's not including tax.

Sigh.....I must have forgotten a person on the Undercover Tourist site. :sad2: Nice catch. It did seem like quite an amazing deal. Looks like it's $1124 on UCT - so a savings of about $35. Not quite as exciting...Thanks!

Oh drat. I was kinda of wishing that you had added another person to the UO site. I'm both sorry for the relative disappointment AND glad that I asked the question.
