Underage Rental...

I'm going to DW in May, and would love to rent a car (sounds so much easier), but I'm only 22. I saw on Thrifty's website that they'll rent to people under 25 but with applicable surcharges.

2 Questions...

1) how much are these surcharges? and
2) can they be waived if I bring proof of appropriate insurance coverage?

We went on our first trip to WDW in 1999, and I was only 21 yo. We were able to rent a car through Avis for an extra 10 a day. Yes, you should bring proof of insurance and also ask your insurance if you get rental car coverage. This will save you money when renting.
