I just booked 6 nights in early june 2010 for under 300.00. they are running a promo stay two nights get one free. so I booked two seperate reservations. At Orlando Vista. Is this a good deal or am I saving or getting a good deal in trade for a disaster. We arent picky people but like clean sleeping arrangments and are doing a cruise before we do 6 visits to Disney next year. So staying onsite is not an option as we will plan to only eat one meal a day inside disney and the others will be offsite.

Thanks. I may have to reconsider. I have went to tripadvisor and read some recent positive reviews also but will keep on top of it to see if what is true

If you're willing to use Priceline getting 6 nights for under $300 is pretty common for a 3 star hotel. I have no idea what star level this orlando vista is but it doesn't ring a bell and I've stayed in a ton of WDW area hotels over the years. We just got back from 5 days at the Radisson Celebration tonight, that was $33.30 per night including the resort fee.

Thanks I may give Priceline a try. I just hope they have that low in June too. It seems Junes rates are higher on the average

We stayed at the orlando vista one night. The rooms are clean , check in was easy and well informed staff. We were upgraded to a king room upon check in. This used to be a chain hotel . The hallways are in need of update and cleaning on our vistit. We are average people so didn't expect to much. They did have inside corridors which I like. We didn't use the pool as it was a stayover before getting to our disney hotel and was exhaused from 2 day drive. The area outside did make me feel a bit insecure. This is right on sr535 (Ibelieve) A short drive to downtown disney. Hotel is located in a very busy area, drivng is congested. We didn't see no bed bugs as stated in trip advisors reviews. That is the first thing I do when Iget in a room is pull back the bedding to look at the sheets and check the mattress. We were looking at staying here again in january as sidestep has it for $35 a night, but will probably opt for a room with anotehr hotel with a kitchen for teh same price but longer drive to disney. If you aren't expecting more that what you paid for you will be ok. We usually are not in our room much when in orlando, only to sleep , eat and take a swim.
