Under 3 year olds & reservations...

We will have an infant and a 2 year old with us. When I make an online reservation, do I indicate 6 (4 adults, a 6 yo and an 8 yo) or 8 (including the infants)?

Reservations for 8, they need a total person count, even if the infants do not eat. They count for fire code occupancy in the room.

They count every human...not just for the fire codes but also because little ones are generall using actual table space and/or chair space (using a high chair, booster seat or stroller taking up space if that's allowed in the restaurant...they must assume the infant and the 2 year old will not be on someone's lap the entire time and will also being in general taking up space in the restaurants. As well as often making some sort of work for the staff

Another Q...if I am on a dining plan, and so is my sis, but under a diff reservation #, does she have to make her own dining reservations?

Not if you are eating together.

No, you can make all of the reservations using your reservation number. I did it for our trip in May. I have a seperate reservation from my sister's. They only need the one number.

Just make sure you have the actual reservation confirmation number for each restaurant.
