Under 3 need ticket for Dessert party?

No ticket needed to get into MK nor to get into the party.

But they do count as a person, so they need to be included in the head count.

This is one of those questions I’ve never been totally sure about, to be honest. But when DD was <3, we included her on reservations for things like dessert parties and EMM.

Exactly right. You need to count them as a person, but as long as they are under the age of 3 you won't be charged for them.

The pricing chart for the party lists 3 to 10 years and 10 years and over.

No need for a ticket for under 3 (which was the question,) but listing them as attending is fine.

Yeah, I get that part, I meant the part about if you HAVE to include them as a person attending the dessert party (which is obviously free) as @maxiesmom indicates (which BTW, makes total sense to me).

That makes sense, but since it's a pre-paid thing, that's why I questioned, do I pay for him or not. I would have asked Disney chat but it was busy earlier when I was looking! I will log on and see if someone is available. Thanks guys!

You do not pay for the under-3 yo child.
There are only two kinds of tickets offered for the Dessert Party.
Just like for park entrance tickets, there are categories for 3 yr-10 yr children and over 10 yr adults.
If your under 3 yr child is listed in your MDX account, you can include the child
as a party guest, but there is no charge assessed.

Like 500 something! I think it was charging wrong at 9 adults!

yes, you won't pay for them, but they must be included in the reservation.

Being charged for children under 3 looks like it is an error.

What do you mean? 9 adults x $59 is $531. That's what we have. 9 adults, 2 two-year-olds, and an 11-month old. That's the screenshot I posted above.
