I am back from Florida... got back late Friday night actually. We didn't go to Disney. Next time though! My mom has a friend that works for Disney or a TA or something... some kinda connection. She said next time we come we'll plan ahead and she'll get tix from her.

Let me tell you something though... I decided to try a new route home from her house and I took I-4 over from 75 to 95... hence driving right by the World. It took everything in me not to just pull in there and find somewhere to stay! I called Tomato and begged him to just take off from work and meet us down there but we all know he is a stick in the mud so he said no. Butthead.

Hope everyone is having a nice and relaxing holiday weekend! Uncle John is most likely packing and moving! Been there, done that.

I can't believe you didn't go. You are a much nicer wife than I am. I would have called mine from Magic Kingdom and said "Guess where I am?"

Improved a lot. But now, Kyleigh hates me because I won't let her do anything. I wouldn't let her go to her friend's house today, so she proceeded to throw toys at me. Loving daughter I've got.

Nice. I would throw them back. Or better yet everything she throws you get to keep. I hope it's something good. Don't feel bad....my DD is just starting to get the flip mouth. Oh how I can't wait for the teenage years. Sigh.

MOVING SUCKS!!! What a pain in the keister........we have had a house inspection a pool inspection......passed them all!! Finally we are closing on our house and buying the new one next Thursday!! We have 3 days to get out of this one!! Boxing it all up now.....We can move some stuff in the new one this weekend.......just the garage and basement though!!

The builder is a joke, my realtor is a joke.....I have to do it all!! I have called the city....no permits for the house were ever issued....no building inspections completed......they have to put a rush on inspections before we close.......or we cant...... DW is furious!!! I told the builder he better get it done or I was giving DW his cell phone number......he doesnt want any part of that!!!

DW and I are going to buy a new fridge and stove tonight!!! Then we have to buy a water softener......(Yes, LOVE its a Culligan!!- I was told it would be that or else!!).....window coverings (I dont need the ladies in the new neighborhood standing outside my windows all hours of the night trying to catch a gliimpse of UJ!!!) .......Or the guys trying to see DW's Hoo Ha Ha's !!!!

LOVE, (it still doesnt sound right) thanks for not spoiling it......its not really a big deal......I am worried though she might think we are staying at POLY (her fav. resort)...and be disappointed.......Oh well, Poly is just not in the cards right now......(or the bank!!) I think she will be happy!!! ( I still cant believe you didnt go to the world, I could never do a drive bye!! At least go to DTD)

A co workerof mine is at the world now....(he is the one who joined DVC) he is picking up all new maps of parks for me!!.........I will have to review all of them......make sure I'm not missing anything.......

LOVE, why dont you load the kids up on Sept. 5 or 6 drive to the world, stay Sat. night at POR and go to MK on Sunday with us (its extra magic hours on Sunday) ....stay Sunday night and drive back on Monday Sept. 8......We would love to go to MK with you & kids....The kids would have fun with UJ & Aunt Lisa!!! We could give you some of our FREE tickets!!! If Tomato want's to be a pooper, leave him at home!!! THe kids would miss 2 days of school, thats like nothing......think about it!!! FREE DINING TOO!!!!

Good luck buying all of your new appliances for your house. Moving in 3 days....wow! You are some brave people for sure! Hope it all works out for you. But a new house...that's exciting all in itself.

Actually, they are moving into their new house soon... so they are busy as beavers lmao: ) packing!

I have a wee little update pertaining to their trip though! My sister (Mrs. Uncle John) e-mailed me last week and said "I'm not allowed to talk to you about our Disney trip. John says he has some surprises for me. Am I going to like them?" I think she already disobeyed and "talked" to me! I wrote back and told her that if he was planning surprises that she wouldn't like I would be the first one to be putting a stop to that!

So I think I've reassured her to sit back and relax and wait and see.

(If you even knew my sister at all you would know what a complete oxymoron it is to use my sister and "sit back and relax" in the same sentence! )

We looked at a lot of appliances last night.......We will probably buy them at Lowes.......

Quick story on DW!! Please laugh with me, I dont ever laugh at her..she gets very upset if I do!! (Love knows).......

DW doesnt cook much, I do 90% ofl the cooking....I love to cook so its fine with me....

When we first were married she got up one morning to cook breakfast...I came in the kitchen and she was going to cook bacon and eggs....well, she started cooking the eggs first!!......I knew right then and there I was going to be doing all the cooking!!!.......

So, last night we were looking at stoves.....she called me over to one and said "look at this one it also has an element on the top inside".....I looked at her and said "Honey, that would be called the broiler, they all have one of those!!"........She said "I didint know that, that's why you do all the cooking"...She decided I should just pick out the stove myself......!!! I love her crazy but sometimes she has a real blonde moment!!

This is the house we just bought.....or we will officially move to in about 3-4 weeks....if everything goes right with the people buying our house.....
We are excited.......Its brand new......We will have to grow grass!!!

Sharky, Here it is...(It was on page 2.....way back when my PTR was just a baby PTR!!) I will post some interior photos later this weekend...we will be over there cleaning today and moving some stuff in Sunday.....

1950 sq. ft, 4 Bdr. up, 2 1/2 bath, living room, family room w/gas log fireplace, kitchen w/island, dining area, full basement w/garden view windows, deck out back...
small lot (85' X 155') but that is fine with me....less to mow!!

It is on a new street, 5 houses so far....will have appxox. 20 when completed....The trees/woods you see now will all probably be gone when new homes are built.....a street with houses will be behind us......kind of sad because right now we have deer in the back yard!!

It's perfect for us.......2 blocks from the high school..boys can walk home....
I like it because the boys bedrooms are big enough (10X12) but not too big that they want to live there forever!!! (I know ladies, I'm mean.....) Mommies dont think that way!!!

Me, too!!! I was just talking about something similar (well...kinda???) yesterday with someone I work with. He was saying he just got divorced, but when he was married he could never get a tattoo because his wife wouldn't let him. I was like....WHA...?? I never ask, I just go home with them. OMG, she was SO bad yesterday. She's finally understanding what its like to have a mom who doesn't put up with ANYTHING, and she doesn't like it. I know but it is soooooo good.

No really, we always wondered how restaurants got there bacon to look all curly and perfect, so we were at a really nice breakfast buffet (Hilton or something) and my DH asked the guy behind the table. He said oh we deep fry them. So we tried it and Voila! a perfect piece of bacon. Not too burnt, not undercooked and all curly. Mmmm bacon. Oh Cheri..
