The Hot tub is up and running sitting up on my new deck!! I was able to sit on my deck last night and smoke a cigar and watch the deer walk through my yard!!!!!! Oh, I also had a cocktail by my side.......what a great evening!!!
Bad news on Friday, came home and found a notice on my front door (I thought, are we getting evicted already??) Nope, city tax asessor wants to come by and re evaluate our home.......nice huh??? We have lived here 2 months and you want to raise my taxes already, give me a freakin break....
I called the lady up and she said if I dont let her come through the house she will charge me the highest amount of taxes for a house our size.......What a classy lady......

Update: tax lady mailed us her asses. (pun intended) ment....didnt change much.......at least things are straightened out now.....Now I can start doing some more work areound here......add on to the driveway (3rd lane), add on to the deck with a cement patio on the ground......start my shed.......when winter starts I can start on the basement........all without building permits and having them jack my taxes before...property taxes in MI are terrible...HUGE!!!!
I am having a terrible time with the last night of our trip for dinner.....we now have 2 ressies....Crystal Palace (MK), we wont being going to MK on our last day. I made a ressie for the Wave at the Contemporary......looking at the menu....its too funky for us.....I have called numerous times and everything is booked up......I might go back to my orig. plan and go to the Boardwalk and go to Big River Grille & Brewing Works........good menu.....and they have beer!!!! (nothing wrong with beer)
I booked our carriage ride!!!!! We are all set for Sat. Sept. 6 at 9:30pm !!!
We go to Captain Jacks (DTD) that night at 7:00pm for dinner......ride the boat back to POR and do a carriage ride!!!! DW will be surprised.......I hope....
