I have to go work all day tomorrow at a basement job I'm doing....have to put up all the trim, window casing, trim out the doors......Then last but not least....put up the stone for the fireplace!!!! I'll be glad when this is over, I have a lot of work here at my house to do!! The extra money is nice. We will have extra money for Disney this trip......So I can buy everbody here something!!!!!

I know its not like Sunshine rewards money but what the hey!!!!!!

It ticks me off we didnt buy into it years ago.....The guy at work who bought into it has gone 3 times his first year.....they bought 200 points.....they keep going Sun. through Thurs. and only use 60-75 points......makes me sick to think of all the money we have spent and could have had it paid off by now....just maint. fee every year......

You know Orangie, we have one of those now too!! I was going to ck at Lowes....I assume they have something out there....I'm not going to hang a large square one over it......Maybe a Japanese fan type blind...opens from one side and fans over the window......Who knows??? Our window is high enough that nobody could see in the room...but it would be nice to have the light out of the room in early mornings.......I'll keep you posted.....

Last I heard you had to buy a min. of 160 points (if buying through Disney)u!!!! I always cruise the DVC Timeshare store (cant remember site add...you see some great deals on there.....just remember all resorts have a expiration date....OKW is like 2025. SSR is 2045.

It just keeps getting better!!!!. Update, had a nonstop flight with Spirit on Sat. Sept. 6 we were going to get in to MCO around 3:00pm...I started looking and found flight times to get us in earlier......We ended up buying new tickets with Delta on Friday night....WOOOOO HOOOO 1 extra night at the World is a good thing huh??

I never canc. my Sat. flight with Spirit, figured I would wait till we got closer to our date......Just got a email from Spirit changing our flight for Sat.
They were now going to have us leave Detroit at 1030am, fly to Ft. Lauderdale- arrive there at 1:00pm then fly from Ft. L. to MCO at 6:30pm and arrive in MCO at 7:40pm......could you believe that a 5 1/2 hour lay over, change us from nonstop to the layover flight.......

Well, I called them right up and told them that was unacceptable to me.....they are sending me a full refund check (no vouchers!!!) for the Departing flight!!! We still have our return flight with Spirit and that shouldnt change according to them!!!!!

Sometimes good things happen to good people!!!

Sorry I haven't been around UJ. I've been doing research to try and replace my canceled WDW trip in September so it's been hard to keep up with everyone here.

I see you have some good things going on for your trip. That's great! So many people are having to cancel lately it's so sad. I'm glad someone is still planning on going.

Sorry I haven't posted lately. It's summer, had a kid in the hospital, you know - the usual excuses. But I have been reading along and am glad the flights worked out. When you get to Metro you will be 15 min from my house. You could come for a quick swim!!

I was at DTW (Detroit Metro) last night picking up my son....at 1:45AM.....The airport was dead.....I walked around to all the airline counters....everyone is now charging for luggage.....$15-25 per bag!!!! Over 50lbs the bag is $100, keep that in mind ladies!!!! United, Delta & Air trans said first bag is free, 2nd = fee.

Hi Laura: we could come for a swim...it will be friday afternoon.....have the pool at 80 degrees or above.....strawberry Marg. for Momma, Bud light for UJ!!!! We had a pool at our old house, I do miss the refreshing swims, not the work though.....

HEY EVERYONE- UJ will be off the site until Sunday....Going up north to Baldwin Michigan to my buddies cabin......we drink beer, kayak, drink beer, smoke cigars, drink beer, complain about our wives, drink beer, eat meat at every meal, drink beer, fish!!!! Its an awesome time.....by the time I get home I am wore out!!!!! I will need a few days off work to recover......
