I just looked at the SW website-Buffalo to MCO 1/27-2/7/05 = non stop $75.00 ROUNDTRIP ALL TAXES!

I just rebooked at that price this afternoon - saved me $350! So now 6 of us are flying for $451!! Our dates are Jan 21- 28.

OMG!! Thank you !!!!! - I just rebooked and saved $150 on one way! for my family of three - I am leaving February 22.

The funny part about this is that I check every day - and it figures something so great like this and I would miss it because I didn't check today!

Thanks again for posting!!! :cheer2:

Lucky you! Southwest wants to charge us over $300 each for the 5 of us for april spring break. Well I guess I shouldnt complain, american is another $200 more .

Go to www.southwest.com click on reservations and put in your dates and airports.

We always fly from Buffalo too. Only I promised no Disney until 2006......
We did 3 trips in the last year and I promised we'd do other places this year.

I know this sounds crazy - but check your flights again! - I wasn't able to get any deals on my return flight yesterday - I am returning March 5th and had a non-stop flight. I looked this morning - and I saved another $30 as my return flight was now available at a cheaper rate!!

I saved a total of $180 round trip - we are DVC members and will be returning in June - so this is a big jump start towards airfare then :cool1:

Had you already booked? I didn't know you can adjust airline tickets after you already booked? Please explain! :bitelip:

djm99 - Yes I had already booked last Saturday. I was reading the new posts on the Disboards yesterday and they had said that the airfares had gone down again!! So I checked and sure enough they had. All I had to do was call there customer service department and request the new fare for our same flight (it has to be the exact date and flight time).

She then faxed me my newly revised price and I now have a $360 with SWA. When I return from my trip I can call them and they will credit my CC or I can just leave it with SWA and fly again with the credit (as long as I use it within a year of booking)

They must count on people not checking the prices of their flights after they have already booked.

But - I would have never known any of this without these boards.

Geez, I'm curious how you looked this info up also. I always find them confusing although it's the most convenient for me to fly. I've been patiently waiting for SW to open their booking window past April 1st. For the last week I would check the website and call to see what info I could get. Last person I spoke with told me it opened last year around Dec. 11. On Thursday I just happened to look and it was open unitl June ?. Our flying dates are last week in April when a lot of schools are on vacation. I knew it had to have only opened that day. Once on the website, most flights for 79 and 127 were already UNAVAILABLE so I called and they had the one decent flight going out (which was listed unavailable on w/site) and I had to be more flexible for the return in order to get the price I wanted. $o for future reference what is the be$t way to find out if you're flight$ have gone down? If the price has gone down and it's unavailable, will they still give you the adjustment? Not sure I could ever benefit from this as we usually fly during peak times but it's good to know. Thanks!

I need help if I book the departing flight under 116.00 at the top then book a return flight for the same am I just paying 116.00 return or what?
please help this is the first time booking
thanks Diane

With Southwest I've booked flights in the past. Then rebooked under better rates when they've held "sales". They are actually really easy to do (I always do it all online). Also, you can adjust as many times as needed. I still have a small credit from my last trip that I'll need to use by August.

Our fares for December dropped to $39 each way, I just called SWA and they gave me a credit of $160!! Now I need to book my airfare for my May trip!! -Steph

Wow, I did not know that. But I'm sure there are enough things in this world that I don't know to make a whole new perfect one!!! I usually do this with hotels for cheaper rates, but now I know I can do this for cheaper fares. Thank you for that!!!
