Upate:
I just called (866) 993-6263. (Note to mods: This number is public information and I got it off of Disney.com's web site.
I spoke with someone who looked up my disney.com account and said that I have banned. VMK.com says that I have not been banned so this is a Disney ban, not a VMK ban, however I have ONLY been on VMK. (Makes ZERO sense.)
I explained to the lady I spoke with how many of us have had a very similar situation occur in the last 24 hours. I explained how some with "sub-accounts" have 1 or 2 of them banned but not others. She agreed that it does seem odd.
She is passing my information on to a supervisor to look into further. She has no information as to WHY I was banned other than violating "House Rules" which can be seen
here. I know that I have not violated those rules, have not been on any other Disney sites and, again, VMK shows I am not banned.
She agrees something seems very strange, but has no access to additional information.
It appears we are all experiencing the result of some system error. If they get 1 call, it is just 1 call. If they get a mass amount of calls, they will begin to see there is a bigger problem and will have to address it.
I was also advised to send an email to
memberservices@disney.twdc.com.
If you have checked to see if you are NOT banned from VMK, be sure to mention this repeatedly when speaking with them. They hear the phrase VMK and want to send you to VMK's support team email. However, once I explained that my ban is Disney-wide and NOT VMK, they assisted me further. If you are in th same position, start dialing people.
