When I called that # he said all he could see that I WAS banned and that he could not see any details and that I had to Email the Disney internet group..
Why could they do all this for you and not the rest of us that called??

Sorry you had no luck. I asked to speak to a manager to help with my account. And at on time may have reminded them I was an adult and knew nothing had been done on my account to get me banned. All I can suggest is try again, keep asking for a higher up person, maybe that will help.

I have been keeping an eye on this thread to see if any progress has been made. So upset for everyone.

I wondered about this, too. Maybe the more calls they got, they decided to make something available to help fix the problem. Maybe calling back might be a good idea? :confused3

No problem, believe me I understand what your going through and didn't take it personally. I really hope you and everyone get this problem resolved ASAP.
 

I called the # this morning and was given the same 'you've been banned, but we don't know why - please send an email' response. I was going through my accounts and had all of the Account IDs associated with each email sent to me. When I did this I realized my kids accounts, which can get on are not listed under my email but should be. I called back and was told that they were realizing that there is a problem and everything has been fixed! YAY! Monkey is BACK! I would suggest if you still are having problems - call back and make them listen!
 
Same problem for me.. but I contacted the number posted above, and after about 5 minutes.. YAY no more problems!! Logged in just fine now! :)

Spoke to a very helpful guy who said, "We've been getting these calls all morning! Looks like it's a problem on the Disney side."

YAY!!

OK so I called back AGAIN and spoke with a girl named Theresa and she said
It is a KNOWN issue and they are working on it.
Once it is fixed an Email will be sent to all of those who sent Email.
so we just have to sit tight until they figure it out.

Call the number and sit tight while they take care of on the phone. Only took about 5 minutes :)

Just curious, while it is an error on Disney's part anyone explain what in fact the error was? Wonder what it was and what they are doing to remedy it (prevent it) from happening in the future. (Sorry I just got home from work and still in "fix broken process mode".)

I just called the number 407-824-4321, that was posted earlier. I got the run around about how I am probably banned from VMK. And that he was about to grab some lunch . He said he would get with his supervisor and call me back. Is that the number everyone is calling? Any tips on what you said to them that got you the good results?

I said, "I'm having trouble logging into any of the disney.com sites. Please look up my account and see what is going on."

The guy said he had been taking calls all morning.
He asked me what site I was having trouble logging into.
He asked me for my Username.
He said please hold.
I waited about 5 minutes.
He came back and said "Ok, please try to log in now."

I logged in just fine.
I asked, "What seemed to be the problem with my account?"

He said, "Looks like you account was banned. Not sure why. It's a problem on our side."

Call the number listed above.. you'll be back on in 10 minutes max!
 
woot 5 of my 12 are back
she said i had to email the others and then they would be back in 24 - 48 hours.

Hi,

Well I was one with an issue. The issue was not with my main account but with my oldest account which happens to be my Day 1 girl character. This is also the account that I use for my passholder log in, WaltDisneyWorld log in, Disneyland and Disney shopping log in. Also my log in for my photopass.

I called the number posted-had to wait on hold about 10 minutes. Got a very nice lady. She took my log in info, namer and phone number. I did NOT mention VMK. I told her all the above places use this log in. She asked if I could hold for a few minutes.

About 5 minutes later she came back and I tried to log in and boom all fixed:). All she would say is that they are having "some kind of an issue" and are aware and are trying to fix it. She seemed surprised when I said that I had read about many others having the issue and she said oh no.

I would suggest calling. They have late hours. She never mentioned the word ban at all.

Time for my nice sigh of relief.

I can't run the actual game at the moment because I'm working, but if I am able to log in to VMK on the home page (the part where it just shows you pins and credits, not actually loading the game), does that mean my accounts are okay? I'm just now reading this and am concerned; I haven't been on VMK in a couple of weeks and am hoping my Sorcerer account isn't messed up.
