I'm contemplating taking 2 umbrella strollers with a connector for our 2 1/2 and almost 4 yr old girls. (I'm debating between that and a SBS double but I'm thinking 2 singles would be easier to maneuver around between people) We have a VERY inexpensive (Carter brand) umbrella stroller. Has anyone used cheapo umbrella strollers for Disney trips or would that be totally uncomfortable for them? Neither one is too keen on sitting in strollers here when we go to the mall, etc but obviously when at Disney I want to have one there at all times for the both of them as I know those little legs are going to get tired!
So A) are the totally uncomfortable for the kids to sit in and possibly fall asleep in and B) if they are connected together and one kid wants to walk so only one side is being used, is it hard to push or is the connection pretty good? C) has anyone used the cheap umbrella strollers they sell at Babies R Us/Toys R Us?
I just hate to buy anything expensive b/c my kids rarely use strollers here at home and we probably won't be able to go back to Disney for 3-4 yrs so it's not like we'd get much use out of anything that we buy. The double we have is a Sit n Stand Plus and there is no way in heck I want to lug that on the airplane and on the Disney busses, etc.
