Ive been tryimg to find a lightweight unbrella like stroller for taller parents, 6'3", that doesn't cost more than $50 does anyone have any recommendations??
I'd recommend looking into renting a citi mini GT from an offsite company if it fits your kid - the handle is adjustable and pushes like a dream. Depending on the length of your trip it may be about the same cost as buying a nicer umbrella stroller too, most of which are too short to be comfortable for tall people to push. Plus they will deliver right to your on site hotel
It's amazing how hard this is to find, isn't it? The best I've found is the Kolcraft Cloud Umbrella Stroller which runs about $40. I lucked out and got something similar at a yard sale.
Handle extenders?! Who knew? We only use a stroller a couple of times a year since I babywear, but that's at least in part because both hubby and I are 6'+. I might look into these before our next trip!
My sister is 6'1 and she has no problem pushing my son in our Summer Infant Lightweight umbrella stroller. I'm 5'4 and it's uncomfortably tall for me I think it was a $70 purchase...so a bit more than $50. Good luck!
