Umbrella Stroller Sun Shade?

We will be going to WDW on May 31-June 7 and will be bringing out 3 and 5 yr olds. We have 2 single umbrella strollers but the shade doesn't really block enough of the sun. Last yr they were really uncomfortable after a few hrs of being in the parks. Is there a replacement shade I can get that really gets them out of the sun or am I out of luck? Since it's Sun-Sun alot of the swaps will be overlapping us and us to them. I really don't want to spent over 200 to rent one in the parks. PLEASE HELP!

I have used this one since our trip in 1997 with the last child. Ours was a clip on one for a wagon. Great because of the bendy positioning and it is only $12.99 at Target.com

Does that work as well as something that would cover most of the whole thing?

I put the regular hood down, then place the umbrella to cover the direction of the sun. Both at the same time. People always stop to ask where I got it from. If I needed complete cover, I took my Mickey receiving blanket and placed over both with those tiny clips in the dollar isle.

I am not sure but maybe someone has an attached hood to go with the original one. I have not seen one yet though.

I use the Kiddopotamus ray shade for really sunny days. It goes over your strollers sun shade and it's huge so it offers a lot of protection. I like that it rolls up really small so it's easy to store in the stroller basket.

We also use the rayshades. I have used it for years. I just fold it up with my stroller. Never had a problem. I love that they have UPF in them!

I was looking at the rayshades but I thought they looked more for the regular strollers shade. Will an umbrella stroller shade be big enough for it?

We have a Rayshade too, but on a larger stroller and I would not go to Disney without it!

Not sure if it would work on an umbrella stroller, but it's worth a try. Babies R Us carries them and if it doesn't work, you can just return it.

We use the Rayshade on both of our strollers. One of the strollers is a large Graco and the other is a MaClaren (umbrella size) one. I think they work great on both. I actually use it more on the Mac as it has a smaller shade so there is more of a need. The Mac is what we bring to Disney too!

The ray shade is the way to go. I use it on my Maclaren triumph (one of the smaller umbrella strollers) and it is perfect. You can pull it all the way down and fold the stroller up without any problem.

I've travelled all over with mine and I love it.
