I was bored last night and came across a show on bbcamerica called shipwrecked. I assumed it would be like survivor, but nothing seemed to actually happen. I did come in part-way thru the show, so possibly I missed something. I couldn't seem to change it until I had figured out the point, but there never seemed to be one.

There were 2 teams, on 2 different islands I think (just like survivor). Unlike survivor, they had a huge chest full of food...tons of canned goods, even chocolate and tea. there was some new guy who spent time at both islands, but other than that all that happened was one team (the tigers I think) snuck over to the sharks camp and stole a bunch of their food.

So can anyone explain the point of this show? The scenery was beautiful, but nothing happened. and not in the good seinfeld way. lol.

ok i think i know what your on about and i loved the show!

Basically each week a different person joins the island, spend a few days on tigers and a few days on shark island then decides which one they are going to live on.
Then on the final week, the island with the most people living on it wins the game. I think it went on for about 5 months, they then share the money and the other island gets nothing. They have to make their island habital too, and they try to make it appealing to people coming into the show, so they get more people on their islands.

It was shown on channel 4, on sunday mornings from what i remember, it's a very good show for lieing in bed when you can't be bothered to get out...Hang over tv!

thanks! and lol about reality tv and having a point. I guess I just expected there to be challenges and such, but they really just hang out, and instead of voting somebody off, they add someone. They seriously must be sooo bored. But at least they are fed, right?

And I can see how this would be great hang over tv. lol.

They do have challenges, to win theme nights etc, but because it's not live like big brother you can kinda read all about what happends to them all once back in the uk, whilst the series is still on. Also sometimes i think the conversations are abit staged!
