Let me start by saying we absolutely loved staying club level!
Loved the CMs available to help us during our stay and the food and drinks offered. The breakfasts were perfect for us, and those offerings combined with the various snacks available throughout the day allowed us to avoid counter service meals almost entirely! Those of you who are familiar with our other TRs know how much we hate CS! I also think the food offered in the lounge was a great value for us – most days we only paid for one TS meal, which was cheaper than paying for the DDP would have been. It was also much more convenient for us in terms of Laura’s food allergies (to peanuts, tree nuts, and soy – plus she is vegan), which we’ve had trouble accommodating when using CS and snack credits.
We loved CL so much that we’ve switched our September 2010 trip over to CL (at the Beach Club again, because it was also the best)!
This was thanks to a nice bounceback offer that was emailed to me the day before our March trip ended. I had been hoping for a code that would trump the former free dining bounceback we had booked with last September, and my wishes were realized – hooray!
Firstly, here are pictures I took throughout our stay of the CL lounge and of various food offerings. I’ll re-post the food postings as appropriate as the story of this TR unfolds.
Two desks for CMs outside of the lounge - the door to the lounge is in the left corner of the picture.
Immediately in front of you when you enter the lounge.
Door to the lounge/ TV area.
Food area - to your right after you enter the lounge.
Kids' area, with a couple of adult tables in the foreground. If you're looking at the lounge from the entrance, this area is right behind the food area.
Kids' counter (right behind food area) - it was so crowded one morning that these were the only seats we could get for breakfast!
