Ultimate PH question

Need help on this one. We have friends who just returned from SOG. Bought Ultimate PH for length-of-stay (7 nights). Can these be converted to APs? If so, is there a time limit within which that must be done? Thanks for any help!

UPH tickets can't be converted to any other sort of tickets... they're really tied to the dates of your hotel stay. In most cases, they expire at midnight on your checkout date.

Park Hoppers and Park Hopper Plus tickets CAN be upgraded or traded in toward Annual Passes or Premium Annual Passes. Within 7 days of the first use, you can upgrade them, and have the full purchase prices applied toward the AP. After the first seven days, you can have the prorated value of unused major park admission days credited toward an AP.

We suspected as much. We once did convert a five-day PH to an AP. It's really a shame these folks didn't buy PHs. In 7 days at WDW at SOG they skipped 2 days at parks -- needed a break! So they didn't fully utilize the UPH, then lost out on conversion potential. They had a wonderful time!

I'm glad they had fun!

The UPH admissions are very convenient, but are not always the most economical choice. Especially for travelers like your friends, who won't use park admissions every day.
