We know you're out there!! SO, now that the show has aired - tell us who you are and how the filming went! (We know about you, Ericka.....BTW - You were great - so bubbly and exuberant!!)....

My guess is that the Travel channel (or WDW) made you follow their itineraries, as well as "suggested" which tips to give (that, or they edited the content quite a bit to suit their needs)....

The show was a refreshment. I am glad we taped it. Can't wait as it gets closer to December as we will watch all of them, including our video we took ( so far 5 dvds worth) as our trip gets closer. I just can't believe that on Thursday, 8-5-04, it will be 100 days since we booked this. I mean starting with 220 days and now, soon, 120 days. It also means that on 8-5-04 it will be 3 months and about 3 weeks, and 6 days until we go. Can you tell we are a little anxious about a December trip?

I thought it was adequate at best. Some of the info passed on was nothing new and most of it was common sense.

Some things I thought were not complete info. For instance they never mentioned a charge for the Sunrise Safari (which there is), they made it seem as the girl who made the PS for PT got here first choice (she may have had to pick several times. They said FP was only available every 2 hours. They said package delivery was to your room.

(that, or they edited the content quite a bit to suit their needs)..

Thus the lack of complete info.

Everyone on that show did a great Disney job. The only thing I wouldn't have done would sleep in. I know your on vacation and all, but I can sleep in on my day off. But something did perk my intrest. When they were at the MK and looking at the board for wait times, where was that located? Also, when she made PS for the Prime Time cafe and walked up to the window, where is that located? We didn't see those when we were there in April. It might have something to do with, 1st time being there and just getting married

The MK time board is on Main Street on the left just pass Casey's as you enter the Hub. The ressie booth at MGM is to the right of the time board on the corner of Hollywood Blvd and Sunset Blvd.

I enjoyed the show as well but was irritated with two points.
1 - The package delivery doesn't go to your room, and
2 - (though I am guessing that this was required to be scripted in) Buying the 5 day hopper pass to save money? Of the things wrong with this:
You wouldn't have planned well if you bought it as you were walking in the park
You would buy a 7 day to save money, not 5
You would save money by buying in advance.
Sorry, I don't mean to be picky, I'm probably just jealous it wasn't me on the show.

I don't know that the show was aimed at those of us who have gone to Disney many times - we didn't really learn a lot of new things (of course, we also have the DIS, which is where some of us learned those things months ago). However, I could see it being valuable to the first or second time visitor (just not sure how many of them were watching Travel channel since I watched it specifically because I read about it here!).

As for the Sunrise Safari, they did not mention the cost was additional even with staying concierge - but that would probably be too detailed. My impression was that it was a big overview.

As for the package delivery to the room, when we were concierge guests, we did have that. Maybe Disney is trying to encourgage more concierge bookings by all this mention of benefits to concierge guests?!
