Has anyone used this ebook? dw-secrets.com

Swears it can bring thousands in savings. I am skeptic (if it seems to good...), but of course we all NEED savings right now. It is a $20 investment.

Let me know if you have used it, read it, and if you saved money.

Also, has anyone had luck negotiating the price on anything at WDW?

I have never read it but I can guess that most if not all of their "secrets' can be found on your own by researching. There are plenty of great budget saving tips right here. There is no way I would pay $20 for some service promising to give me tips on how to save money.

What in particular are you looking to save $$$ on?

Tickets - sign up for the mousesavers.com newsletter. On the 15th of every month you will receive a newsletter with a link to Undercover Tourist special rates. You can save alot on tickets that way.

Room - Disney has a stay 4 get 3 deal going on right now. There are also AAA discounts as well as other discounts floating around right now. Check out the Codes and Rates board for plenty of discussion on how to save staying at Disney.

Food: Lots of tips around here on how to save on food in and out of the parks.

The best advice I can give is read thru related boards here and ask lots of questions We are a very friendly and knowledgeable bunch who are always willing to help others save on their WDW vacations.

i bought it (or one like it) a few years back. to make a long story short, the main way to save thousands is to buy or rent DVC.

if i had found the DIS before i bought the book, it would have been worthless. i appreciate that it pointed me here but you won't learn anything there IMO, that you can't find on the DIS with a little effort...

Don't buy this e-book. You already saved yourself $20! Hangout on the budget board and you will find ways to save money with any deals going on. The DIS is very informative and everyone is helpful, so any any questions you have about your trip.

Every review I have seen has said the best advice in the book is to go to DisBoards. And it is considered by most to be a rip-off.

It in fact IS a complete rip off!! I bought it a couple of years ago. I read through it and emailed them and asked for my money back. It had nothing in it that I had not read about either on here or the Tour Guide Mike site. If you are going to spend money on anything. I would definitely spend the 20 bux on TGM as he saved me hours of my time!! That is worth much more to me that money anyhow!!

ABSOLUTELY don't buy it! I did, & the ONLY thing it helped me do....is find the DISboards! since you're already here......save your $20 & buy a few Mickey bars on your next trip

What about the free book AAA offers anything good? Worth booking thru them?

Thanks for the replies. I agree that the very best ideas and hints have been from this site. And lets be honest.. this site is addictive. Thanks for all the help. In the recent days I have changed our original vacation plans and saved about $2,000. WooHoo!
