Hi To You All,

We will be picking up a 12 seater from Alamo Sanford and we need to get to Jouliard Blvd, Hampton Lakes,Davenport.
I have seen a few sites with maps but they all look confusing to me. We wouldbe very greatful if somebody could give us a walkthrough of the drive (if you know what i mean)
I think the van that they are going to give us is a GMC Rally type thing - There is nothing like this here in the UK what can i expect?
Many thanks in anticipation

Okay...this might help...I've been to Hampton Lakes subdivision but not from Sanford Airport.

Exit Sanford Airport following the signs to 417, Central Florida Greenway. Head South on 417 continuing approximately 15 miles to the exit for SR-408 (East-West Expressway). Head West 408 to the exit for I-4. Head West on I-4 to exit 64B, US-192 West. Continue west on US-192 past the touristy areas until you get to US-27. Follow the signs for US-27 toward Haines City. Once on US-27 continue approximately 3.5 miles to the Hampton Lakes subdivision. Turn left into the subdivision onto McFee Drive. There will be a trailer camp, I think it is called Florida Holiday Camp, on the right just before the turn onto McFee Drive.

Go down McFee past the Centex Homes sales office to a traffic circle (or rotary if you prefer). Go around the circle to Julliard Blvd. I think it is either ¼ or ¾ of the way around, depending on where your house is.

You could also get onto I-4 up in Sanford but that will put you into the downtown area which does get ugly during rush hour. Also, there is a lot of construction going on in the downtown area of I-4 so by taking 417 to the 408 to I-4, you’ll avoid most of that. There will be tolls on both 417 and 408.

This link will take you to the builder's webpage for the subdivision. Hampton Lakes

There may be other ways to go, but this is basically the way I went when I visited my friends. It really was pretty easy to get there. Hope this helps.

If you do lose your way I find the toll booth operators very helpful with directions :)
