HI, I know Spain is a popular vacation spot, and I'm wondering what are the inexpensive fare airlines that fly from London to Barcelona? We're trying to work out a good price for next summer.

Hi, I have been researching this quite a bit recently.

I have booked BA to Barcelona as I have heard to many recent horror stories recently from Friends regarding Easy jet.

Just looked and prices ( www . Ba .com )are from £42 per person per way.

Part of the problem I'm having is that some of the airlines only have one flight a day back to the US, and their flight from Barcelona leaves early in the morning. Checking BA the last time, which seems possible, it seems that I would have to change from Heathrow to Gatwick to get the flight. I haven't done that in years and years. I forget. What's involved now in moving airports?

I'm pretty sure FlyThomson are operating Barcelona - may be worth checking!

Gatwick to Heathrow isn't too bad as there is a dedicated bus - National Express.

To be honest alot of the 'no frills' airline run from Stansted and Luton airports so again difficult to get back to Heathrow.
