Hi,

I just want to check something with you clever people.

Am I right in saying you cannot upgrade UK ultimate tickets to annual passes? We're going in November and considering returning in Sept next year but I dont think it's an option for us to upgrade?

Thanks!

I have read about others being able to upgrade their ultimates, I am going to see if i can upgrade to the annual when i get there.

I upgraded my 14 day ulitimate ticket to an AP at Guest Services at the Magic Kingdom in August this year - no problem at all.

That will be great if it is do'able. If it is, which AP did you upgrade too and what was the cost?

Thanks

Steve

We upgraded to the regular ap, we have dvc so got a discount but I think the cost to upgrade to the regular pass was $195

Thanks for that, I would want to be upgrading to PAP without DVC discount, I don't think it would be worth doing even for the free parking and discounts.

Sorry to jump on.....but if you buy a 14 day and use all but one day then go to upgrade on your last day, do you have to upgrade to a PAP or can I just upgrade to a regular AP?

The reason I ask is I would have used my 14 day ticket to get into the water parks, but dont want to use the waterparks on my next visit, so only need the regular AP.

Thanks

The official line is if you have used your 14 day ticket to enter a waterpark then your only option is the PAP which also includes waterparks but I have seen at least 1 post which said they had upgraded to regular AP afer using a waterpark.

Cheers Wayne,
Not sure what I will do then, do you know if there is a huge difference between the AP and the PAP upgrade?

I had used my Ultimate to go to Disneyquest but was able to upgrade to an AP rather than the PAP. The discount I got on booking my room at the Contemporary made it well worth it!

Only one of you has to upgrade and I think over 2 weeks with the food , shopping, and parking discounts you would easily get your money back plus if going next year one less ticket to buy.
If your already staying on disney property I can understand your point or not doing many disney visits. If your planning on going back its definatley worth it. PLus the PAP gets you 20% off in most places not 10% like the standard AP. We have looked a lot into this and worked out pros and cons.Hope you work something out.:thumbsup2

Hi all we was also thinking of up- grading we was thinking if doing a wks adult only trip in April then taking the family in the September if we could afford it ...if not then we will only donthe family as wenhave not been this yr and won't go if they can't! What we was wondering is what other perks come with the AP or the PAP that's the one we would get as we do water parks and Disney quest :) we was wondering what the discount on Disney hotels was with the PAP? And can you get discount on buying other tickets with it thanks in advance.

Thanks for that. I am looking at the figures again and maybe they do add up to a saving, trying to work out figures in the early hours of the morning when I am on night shift is probably not the best time to be doing it.

Does anyone know what value is placed on the 14 Ultimate ticket?

Thanks

Steve

We upgraded our to 7 Day MYW Non Expiry as we already tickets left over from a previous trip. Not sure what to do these ones now....We changed our at Downtown Disney.

As its approx anothet £120 for the PAP and £65 for the AP I did hear they dnt give what u paid for it. My way of looking at it is well thts all ready paid for. We are just getting 2 AP this time as dd is 9 at present so gonna wait till next year to do hers.if you look how much they are full price and take off approx $195 for the pap thts how much ur ticket is worth. It should be what weve paid to current exchange rate.
