Hello all,

I am going to WDW the lastw eek of Feb. I just found out that my brother and his future wife will be spending their honeymoon touring the UK. I was thinking of maybe getting them a wedding gift at the UK pavillion at Epcot. Any suggestions?

Are they of English or Scottish descent? One of the UK shops can search family names and coat of arms. You could get a print or even have it matted and framed.

Can't think of anything 'wedding gift' specific but there is a variety of items you could get for them. You could get them matching scarves for the trip in a beautiful tartan print. Is there any familiy link to his name for a certain clan? You could find that tartan. They also have family crests and family histories at 'The Crown and Crest', that might be cool to welcome her into her new name.

The other shops are a sporting shop, tennis and golf mostly, a small toy shop, and 'The Tea Caddy' which has tea pots, china, some jewelry, other 'girly' stuff and candies/biscuits. That is where we bought our scarves by Lochcarron. If they don't have a family link you can just pick the tartan you like or they have a 2000 year 'McLlennium' tartan which is a pretty red/green pattern.

Good ideas. They will be traveling in June so I don't think they'd be able to use the scarves. Of course, we do live in Boston so I'm sure the scarves would get plenty of use. Maybe a coat of arms, that would be neat. Or a nice teapot.

Thanks & keep the ideas coming :)
