Just an FYI for anyone not on the UK Trip Planning board - disneyholidays.com are now accepting advanced bookings for Free DDP for 2018. All bookings will be confirmed on or after 6th April. Also includes the usual Memory Maker, a $200 giftcard, and 14 nights for 7 ultimate ticket.

Just booked the 10 night Disney portion of our 15 night honeymoon trip in Feb/March!

:crazy2: That was just mean!!! Ok...I'm moving to the UK!! Actually...Good for all our friends across the pond. If only....for US. :charac2:

If it makes you feel any better prices are soooo high for us (thanks Brexit)!
I played with making a booking on the same deal back in 2015 for October 2016 at the Beach Club (9 nights, pool view, free dining + tickets) and it was £3300, this year that same week its up to £4300...

In 19 days we're off to POR for two weeks, with free dining upgraded from CS to DP. We paid £4300 including direct flights with BA.

Pricing up the same deal for 2018 comes up as £4300 WITHOUT flights.. Assume they're about a grand for two people, so £5300 give or take.

When we booked, the dollar was at $1.55, so our £4300 bought us $6,600 worth of holiday. That $6,600 holiday today with the dollar at $1.24 will cost £5,375.

So yea.. It actually is Brexit and not Disney this time..

Yeesh.

I think it's probably a combination of both.

We are taking our second cruise in November; first cruise was last November. We are paying within a couple dollars the exact same price for a 3-day cruise that we paid for a 4-day cruise last year. Same number of people, same category of room, same ship.
