This is your thread for any questions or comments on this week's Entries
.

I don't have anything for this competition, but looking forward to seeing and hearing about everyone's entries :)

Come on guys, surely you've got some pics of fireworks somewhere?

I would've thought this weeks will be heavily subscribed to, like last week.

Oh nice one...I will have to look on the old photos :)

I've never managed yet to get a decent Fireworks photo so I am looking forward to seeing everyones shots this week and hopefully pick up some tips on how to take a decent piccy.

There are two great photo's already

same here
gave up years ago trying
just stand back now an enjoy the show

no entry this week

I think the problem here is that most people will video a fireworks display rather than take stills. I know I do, but I have one or two pics of dubious quality lurking on my hard drive somewhere. I'll put them before the jury tonight and decide if they should be subjected to public scrutiny or not! :lmao:

I'm going to have to sit this one out too. I have a video of illuminations but no still photos. I think it is because we tend to go out to dinner on an evening then go back into a park to watch the fireworks or watch them from a hotel. Either way we don't have the camera with us.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone elses pictures though.

I've found one from 2004 that I can post. I love your first shot Matt - what sort of setting did you use to get it??

Wow. Really nice pics so far. Just added mine :goodvibes Good photo comp's Deb! :thumbsup2

I'm another that can't find a decent entry for this week.

I think shooting fireworks is definitely an area where having a decent camera and the skill to set it properly is going to pay dividends.

Kev I have the camera now all i need to do is find the skill:goodvibes
I can't believe I have NO fireworks pictures ( Loads of camcording but not 1 good picture.:guilty:

Haven't been to Orlando so that rules me out :thumbsup2

Sorry, I'm not thinking properly, am I? I was trying to open up the competition by not restricting it to WDW. I was forgetting that we have folks who might want to post DLP photos. If anyone has any fireworks pics from other Disney parks, please feel free to enter them.

I have no skill and a cheap camera! Both of mine were taken with my ickle Canon Ixus 800. I just rested on a railing and whacked it on auto. Id love a big SLR digital but with 3 kids that seem to come with enough paraphanalia to fill 3 large bags on one 3 hour visit to a theme park, I have to settle for something teeny....no change there then (gets a sharp poke from a nearby DH :rotfl: ).

great photos everyone :thumbsup2
