Sorry if i'm being a bit thick, but how do you get the AA discount off universal...do you have to buy your tickets at the gate?

You can get 10% off in most of the shops and restaurants in citywalk. We saved a lot using this last year!

great tips guys keep it up

anyone who loves going to the cinema odeon have a great value card at the moment i plan on seeing cars 2 for free

Here's one I did the other day.

If you book additional luggage with VA, pay in $US and you will save about £2.80 on the price than if you paid in £'s.

You need to find your flight on the VA site and on the flight itinerary, scroll down and there's a link under "How do I purchase extra baggage"

another one just to save a few $ is dont use toll roads you can save a fair bit driving road florida

you can register on the websites of various malls and restaurants to get coupons..

i periodically get coupons from sweet tomatoes and from premium outlets (i think it's premium).

I save my £2.00 coins they certainly add up. I also register with the malls and outlets then when I get there I go to customer service and pick up a book of vouchers. This year I got 10% off at Macey's at the millenium mall and discount in the food court. Just to name a few. :)

So glad to have found this thread, we just had a massive car bill to pay and I've been having sleepless nights about how we are going to be able to afford everything while we are there in October!! I have hope! Subbing for more ideas!

back to ask what do you put as address when you sign up to some of these websites?

Just opened one of our saving tins which had a collection of £2, £1, and 50p coins.

The total amount was..........£430.00. :cheer2: :cheer2: :dance3:

I'll take into work tomorrow morning, get finance to change it into notes, bank it immediately and then load my Fairfx card at $1.60.

Sounds like a plan.

Wow! that's great!

I also save change in an old huge whiskey bottle - we're into the neck at the moment and I'm very excited that it's almost time to count it up - I hope I'm as lucky as you :goodvibes

Looking for suncream when it's on offer is a great idea - thanks!

I have stopped buying coffee from Starbucks etc, we're also trying to reduce how often we buy takeaways. Every time I resist buying coffee I put a pound in the savings and every time I resist buying a takeaway I put £5 in the savings.

Like someone else said, any 'extra' money I come into (mum and dad give me £10 for petrol every now and again, bless them) all goes into the fund!

It's hard saving for a wedding at the same time but I hope there'll be loads more helpful tips on here :)

I'm new to this thread but a tip that I've used when we've gone every time is when you arrive in the airport there is a free coupon magazine most of the coupons you wouldn't use but last October when we were there we got coupons for 2 free kids meals for every paying adult in Dennys and one free kids meal for every paying adult in sizzlers and TGI Fridays :) x

Right, this is one we have done for many years.

On a Sundau we make a point of buying the Orlando Sentinal as there are pages and pages of coupons which we use in Walmart. They cover almost everything and for the price of a paper we save quite a few Dollars.

Also, take a look at this link which is published EVERY Friday. Lots of freebies for when you are in Florida.

Let me know what you think.

I have taken to doing the on-line surveys, you get paid for each one you do, sometimes it is only pennies but others could be £2.00, they soon add up depending on how many you do.
Also l have started making personalised cards and selling them and any profit l make goes into the kitty, it all helps.

I do the online surveys but get Virgin airmiles instead of cash. Had about 10,000 miles since I started doing it.:thumbsup2

Did not know you could get air miles, this is our last trip to disney my husband is not a good traveller and has said he cannot go any more, but l am going to New York next year with my daughter so the air miles would be very useful

Not sure if you can register or if you have to be invited, both myself and DW got links sent from Virgin.
DS got a link sent from Continental, I registered him about a year ago but they have never sent any surveys for him to do.

Edit to say I just clicked the link and it said invitation only, sorry.
