I appreciate many of you guys are busy trying to fix the small snags over here and the big problem on the Uk server.
As you all know ( from recent experiences)you suffer withdrawl symptoms pretty quickly without your DIS fix.
Any chance of a little update on the progress/ non progress on fixing the UK server, and a little bit of info as to whats actually crashed or died for those of us a little technically minded.
I pray we haven't lost too much data as there was a wealth of information in those UK files.

As is usually the case, I am totally in the dark as to what happened or when it may be fixed. The UK mods are probably more up to speed on the subject. You would probably have more luck emailing or pming one of them.

As long as you're here though, we'll be glad to share our tea and Bailey's with you. Beanie, where did you put that bottle of Bailey's?

Shaun, I'm not sure what else you want to know that hasn't been mentioned over on the UK Boards.

The old NT Server killed and totally corrupted all the boards and posts and I <i>think</i> the problem is that the amount of work involved to try and get it all up and running again is big (if even possible), without any guarantee that it won't fall straight over again anyhow. (Kinda speculation on my part there ) There are no back-ups.

I think it's safe to say that the US site is our new home for the foreseeable future - but that's ok as they have loads of great parties over here, it's great!
