Hi everyone,

UH OH!! Just found out I'm 6 weeks pregnant and my wedding is still 7 weeks away!! We are honeymooning at Disney and I'm worried about what I can ride and what I can't. I'm sure we'll have a great time just being married and being happy together. The baby is just a bonus. We're very excited about it but we're keeping it a secret until after the wedding.

Just need moral support! :teeth:

Congratulations on your little one on the way! I would definitely consult with your doctor, but I think you’ll be able to do most things except the thrill rides. Things like the Tea Cups and Kilimanjaro Safari might also be out, just ask your doctor. I found this web page with tips for expectant mothers. Don’t worry—have a wonderful wedding and honeymoon!

Congrats! You'll have to cut out some of the rides but you will still be able to enjoy shows like Mickey's Philharmagic and Bug's Life. I believe the park maps also have a list of restrictions for expectant mothers, so you should check that out. Well, enjoy planning your wedding b/c then you'll be planning for a baby!

Thanks guys for your support! I really appreciate the kind words. Thanks for the link also. We're just trying to get through the wedding first.

My DH2B and I have the trail ride booked. Should I be ok to do that?

Thanks for your help!! This is my first pregnancy.

Hm I would ask your doctor about riding horses.

There's a good section in the Unofficial Guide about expectant mothers, the writer went while pregnant and found out why she couldn't go on certain rides and the reasoning behind it.

Thanks for the info. My first doctor's appt is on April 13th. I'll talk to her about the trip as well. I'll also check out the Unofficial Guide.

Thanks everyone!!

Congratulations! In "What to Expect When You're Expecting" they suggest you don't go horseback riding, a co-worker of mine just informed me. :)

Thanks guys! I figured as much but I just wanted some feedback on it. I'll call and cancel.

Congratulations!

Now you'll be able to get a baby ticker to go with your wedding one :0)

That's true! I hadn't thought of that! :goodvibes

I'm really starting to feel better about this whole situation. :cool1:
