our last night we'll be at a @TS credit restaurant with a large group of people on the DDP. What happens if some of us only have 1TS left to use for the meal?

also, what's the deal with so many paying in cash - is it their preferred method or is it to avoid problems with trying to use a credit card? I think I must have missed something.......... :rolleyes1

Manage so this doesn't happen. If you don't have 2TS available you'll have to pay for the meal off the DP. Only make ADRs to match your plan. If you go over you pay OOP before that final Signature meal.

If at the end you really end up w/o that credit I would simply eat somewhere else and kick myself for not managing my credits.

OMG :scared1: I had NO idea. Thank you. Then, in that case: What if there are 14 of us and say 8ppl have 1 TS left and 6ppl have 2TS left. Can we take the 8ppl 1TS to make it 4 with 2TS left regardless if they're in the same room?

Let's say your room line up is as follows and everyone is an adult diner:

Room A - 5 Adults
Room B - 5 Adults
Room C - 4 Adults
Totals a group of 14

On the final night:
Room A has 11 TS credits left: Everyone can eat the 2TS meal
Room B has 9 TS credits left: 4 can eat the 2TS meal, 1 cannot use plan to pay (pay Out of pocket or use 1TS somewhere else)
Room C has 8 credits left: Everyone can eat the 2TS meal

If Room A & B are the same reservation (ie. KTTW cards are linked) then the credits from the two rooms are linked so the 20TS credits would be enough for everyone to eat. This would happen say if Mom and Dad got a room for the Teens and their friends while the littler ones stayed with Mom and Dad.

In reality if one person was short then have them order a partial meal, pay OOP and share food from others plates. Our experience was there's plenty of food available at Disney.

Keeping track of TS credits and meals isn't really very hard so there really shouldn't be any surprises at the end. Snack credits and even CS can be tough, but with reservations being needed and the time it takes to have a TS meal there should be no doubt by whom, when and where credits were used.

I ran into this when planning our ADRs. I'm sure it will change 1 million times before I can actually book them:laughing: . Anyway, what I did was to change one of my TS meals to OOP so I would have enough credits for CRT (keeping my fingers crossed I can get in!)

You can't use 1 TS to pay for part of a 2TS meal.

The credits are also non-transferrable so unless people are in the same room and on the meal plan together, you can't combine their credits.

Why don't you pay for one of your "cheaper" TS meals OOP earlier on in your vaca so you will have enough for the Signature experience on your last night!

thats what we are doing. the day before the CRT we will have BF at Tusker house. We will pay that one OOP. However, it is the last day, so in case our plans change earlier in the week and we cancel a ADR then i won't have to pay OOP

This happened to us. We were a party of 4, 2 adults and 2 children. We had 4 credits left, 2 ad and 2 ch. At CRT, the server used the credits we had to pay for one adult and one child and we paid for one adult and one child oop. Just tell the server when you sit down so she can do the check the right way. No problem at all and it seemed to be a commen occurance.
