Been there, done that, last year TODAY!!!!! Last year we took a WDW trip Jan 1 to 7th and I was 8 weeks pregnant. I was really sick 24/7 with my 1st pregnany for 5 to 6 months, was ok for 2 months, then it started again. I saw my Dr. a week before the WDW trip last year and explained my worry of vomiting around WDW. He took pitty on me and prescribed Zofran. Yes it is pricey. ($30 a pill
, thank God for health insurance.) It did really help (and baby is currenlty 5 months old and doing great.) It really was a life saver for me. Once I start throwing up, I can't stop and it did break the cycle.
However I felt great for most of the week while at WDW. Just being there, it was so exciting and fun, we were so busy, fresh air, exersize, lots of good food to eat. No problems. The funny thing is our friends who went with us found out she was also pregnant the day they came left to come down there. So she was 4 weeks and I was 8 for the trip.
I also tried every other thing under the sun to aleave the nusaua. Lemon and ginger did help some. I found these lemon/ ginger cookies that I just love, I wish I had them then. Carr's Ginger Lemon Cremes, English Tea Cookies, yummy. I keep lemon drops with me at all times too. Jelly Belly sours are also great.
Congradulations and have a great trip and pregnancy.
