So, we leave for our DL trip in 7 days! yipee! I've been holding off on buying our DLR tix hoping for a promotional deal that I've been getting lucky with the past few years. Well, Tuesdday, my DH tells me he bought the promo tix 3 dayPH or $199. I checck out the DL site and they're valid Jan 4, 2012- May 28, 2012! Ahhhhhhh!Don't tell me he just spent $400 on tix we can't use until next year?! I check the e-ticket print out and it only says vaild until : May 28, 2012. No where on the ticket does it mention it has to be used after January 4th.

I need help, should I hope these tickets will be accepted at the turnstiles next weeek, or drop another $400+ for regular priced PH tix? Is there a phone number I can call to follow up on my predicament?

I would call the Disney ticket office right away and explain what happened. I am sure they are going to be dealing with a lot of this because those darn promo tickets are at the top of the page and it says on the website that they aren't good until January.

Sorry! I hope they fix it for you right away!

Yes, call them. They will hopefully let you exchange them for tickets you can use in a few days but you will most likely have to pay the difference.

Unfortunately those tickets only can be used after 1/4, 2012. As everyone else has posted call, hopefully you have done that. Have a great trip.

Thanks so much for the #, I called and spoke with a CM, he said because it doesn't say on the ticket anything about a start date to go the the turnstiles and point that out, worst they can do is send us to a ticket booth to the fix the problem. *Sigh*... I'm a little relieved but we'll see how this turns out

Well, at least they won't make you buy another $400 worth of tickets. Cross your fingers and hope for the best! Maybe get there early so you can ask a ticket CM prior to entry? That way you have plenty of time to fix it without interfering with park time. Anyway, hope it gets resolved and you have a great time! :goodvibes

Hi! Try calling 714-781-4400. That's the number I have with all of my online ticket purchases. A few years ago I did exactly what your DH did and bought tickets that weren't good for when I was going. I called and they fixed the order over the phone w/out a problem. I had the correct order and pdf tickets sent to my email address.

And sometimes all it takes is talking to someone different! :) Good luck!

I wouldn't worry at all. They are so helpful with mistakes and problems.

I had my husband buy our tickets in September at a local grocery store for a similar promotion.

I realized after we arrived at Disney that he had bought me a ticket, even though I have an AP.

We got to the ticket counter and I noticed I had left my AP at home.

They offered to give us a refund for the extra ticket or apply it towards the AP we were buying my other family members.

They also made me a new AP.

Easy and it only took a few minutes.

I doubt you will have any problem.

We bought the wrong tickets by accident when we went last December. We didn't realize it until we stood in the long line to get in and then we were sent to another long line at the ticket booth. After waiting to talk to the manager, etc, we finally paid the difference for the tickets, got back in the other line to get in. It took well over an extra hour to get in, so be sure to take care of this ahead of time!!!

They didn't charge you the $20 fee for that? Oh harumph at them. I mean, I'm glad for you, but am now annoyed at them for us. (DH had his and DS's AP in a Disneyland pouch on a Disneyland lanyard and it snapped off while on CA Screamin', their CMs never found it, but they charged us twenty each for the replacements.)
