Ugh! Where did that weekend go?

Hi everyone!

Just thought I'd start the week off with a hello thread and find out what everyone did this weekend and what is on the agenda today!

This weekend we had travel basketball team tryouts for 2 of our boys! They made it! Yeah! Relief for mommy... anxiety level down to normal!

Today is catch up day from the busy weekend! Laundry, school, meetings, practices... typical Monday!

Boy, did the weekend ever just go...poof!

Friday DH and I worked a golf tournament for most of the day. The upside was that since my Mom picked up the kids, we got to go out to dinner - just the two of us - Friday night.

Saturday, I worked on some tax returns in the morning. Then StitchIsOurHero and her DH came over for dinner with my family, including my mom and dad (who had brought my kids back).

Yesterday, more tax returns. BUT once I got done, I got to start packing for Disney!!!

Only 11 more days and I get to go play in the World.

Today, I leave work after lunch to get my hair done (must have new color - roots BAD!!!)

We hung out with DH and did errands and stuff like that on Saturday and went to the shore to see my sister and her family (they are from Maine, so we don't see them all that often). What fun! Nothing like a day at the beach to recover from the week!

Anyway, this week is a real toss up. I am subbing again tomorrow. Swimming lessons, meetings and CCD are after school. My grandfather had a stroke last night, so I don't know if we'll need to go to anything else. If you know what I mean...

I spent the weekend with Piglet. Did you know that you could make 2 photo mats, 1 journal box, 1 big tag, 2 small tags, 4 squares and 1 really bad, awful, what was I thinking, sorry I sent it anyway shaker box for 7 in 24 hours? Yup, it is possible when the rest of the family is gone for the weekend. Stupid shaker box. I said that for four hours trying to make it work. It probably would have worked if I used heavier shaker material inside. Paper confetti and sequins just kept getting caught in the sides. It was supposed to look like it was raining out the window, I guess it is a lull in the storm
Anyway, I'm off to finish the birthday part of my Holiday swap. Just need to embellish and I can send it out tomorrow.
Than I get to try to work on the cans. Hope they are nicer to me than shaker boxes.

Mickster-sorry to hear about your grandfather let me know if there is anything you need. My weekend flew too!! DD (almost 2) has decided sleeping is a bad thing. No need to do it. We where up until 11:00 both nights and and she wound up in our bed. Sleeping for 2-3 hours up for 1-2. IT was so much fun!!! Needless to say I wish I could have sent her to daycare today and stayed home and slept, but alas I am at work. Woek will be even worse than the weekend. My little subgroup of co-workers is down 3 people so that only leaves and and 1 other person. Overworked is not the word!!! with no signs of stopping
