ugh...what should I do BOG breakfast

I was so happy when I scored an 8am breakfast ADR with a 9am park opening. We were going to do rope drop that morning, but we've never done an early morning entry so thought seeing the park when it was almost empty would be fun. But I just saw they changed the park opening to 8am. My main goal was mostly the early entry instead of doing rope drop. I'm not sure how early they'd let us into the park with the ADR---With the time change, it's looking like I should do rope drop and drop the ADR...thoughts?

I'm a little confused. You wrote you booked an 8 am ADR for a 9 am opening, but they then changed opening to 9 am. I'm assuming you really meant to write that they changed opening to 8 am? If that's the case and RD AND your BOG breakfast are at 8 am, I would drop the ADR. You will be eating breakfast while everyone else is getting a head start on rides. If you have an 8 am BOG and RD is at 9 am, I would keep the ADR.

If this is your only day at MK, then I would drop it and do the early EMH rope drop. If you have another day to do rope drop, then I MIGHT keep it if I hadn't already eaten at BoG or didn't have another ADR for it.

Same thing happened to us in December. I cancelled the ADR. The whole point for us was to get in early.

Going again in September, again have an ADR before RD. Hoping opening doesn't shift again, and I get to go in early!

Breakfast was not at all special. I would only do it to gain early access to the park.

I would drop it. We are doing a prepark open ADR at CP at 8:10 when we are there in August. We would cancel if they changed the opening of MK from 9 to 8. We want shots of our family on main street w/o the crowds, if we couldn't get these the ADR wouldn't be worth it for our family.
