Ugh..this is such a pain in the butt!

I got a new iPod today!
It's a green 8G nano. I love it.
But now I have to put all of my music on it....which is A LOT of music! lol
Since about 2 this afternoon, I've been putting in a CD, uploading it to iTunes, putting the songs onto my iPod, taking it back out, rinse & repeat.
It's boooring! lol

So, what did you do today?

Ahaha, I remember putting all of my music on.
And then I got obsessive with putting artwork on.
It took like 11 hours of solid searching for the artwork, saving and putting it on.
I refuse to have songs without artwork.

Today I went to Saint John to see my great aunt.

Today I went to target and bought Leave in conditoner, A bikini, And really cute shorts. Then I went to Kohls and bought Basketball shorts.

And I've been texting my friend all day becasue she's on vacation.

Ahaha, I remember putting all of my music on.

I'm not doing the artwork part. I decided to skip that. That's too much extra work. I'm sick of this already. lol

And what sucks even more is I have a bunch of CDs my friends have made me, and the song info doesn't come up, so I have to manually enter it all. And I just found a couple CDs like that and I didn't write down the names of the songs..ugh. Now I have to figure it out on my own.

Yeah, it'll definitely be worth it. I'll have pretty much all my music in one spot. My old iPod only holds 500 songs. My new one holds 2,000, which is sooo much more convienent.

It is taking forever. I'm only up to 206 songs...that's barely a dent...ugh. This is going to take all week!

I was just wondering, why do you have to transfer it all onto CD's?
Did you not have iTunes previously?
The only time I had to transfer my songs is when I got a new computer. I did all of that with my memory stick.

ETA: Today I just took a shower, been reading Eclipse, and did a load of laundry. Tonight my mom, my sister, and I, are going to visit my grandma because she just got back from Alaska and has souvenirs for us. After that we're going to Wal*Mart to get food and stuff for camping.

I have to edit everything so it's perfect and matching and I have to have the album art or it'll drive me nuts! I have a Zune though.

Yeah, I like it that way too.
Whenever music goes on my itunes, the first thing I do is make sure the title, and artist name and the album name are correct, and I put the artwork on.
I dislike it when songs go underneath 'Unknown Artist'
It makes me angry.
Also when I get a typo so I'll end up having like two artist things for the same artist.

When I get my laptop, I think I'm going to either do it by cd or memory stick.
Whatever my dad decides to use. I probably won't because I'm afraid to screw it up.

ugh me too! I'm OCD about it! I have a program called MP3 tag where you can edit all of your stuff. It's a lifesaver. Although the Zune software was updated so you can edit now.

It drives me insane, when I have a song, and all of the information is in the name.
So then when I'm looking for it on Itunes I'm typing the artist name and I'm getting nothing.
I put Paper Heart by AAR on it earlier and I still have yet to find it...

I'm doing it all on my laptop so it'll recognize the new ipod in the future. And I have MAYBE 100 songs on the iTunes on my laptop. And the itunes on the old computer doesn't have all the music that I want to put on the ipod. So i have to upload each cd to put it into the ipod.
