Ugh problems booking dining 180 +10

At my 180 mark I made sure my DVC reservation was linked to my MDE account. I log in, go to Things to Do, Make Reservations. When I click the calendar the dates of my villa reservations are highlighted and "clickable". I select the date, time, and party size. It displays available times. I click the time, and it says across the top "Sorry, we are having problems searching reservations at this time." I get that error message for any day beyond the exact 180 mark, even though the dates of my trip are highlighted on the calendar.

This message appears on my home laptop using Chrome, my iPhone 5 using the MDE app OR logging in to MDE website through the browser on the phone, and my Mac desktop at work. I have rebooted, cleared cookies, etc.

Now, the really stupid/odd/aggravating part is I USED ONLINE BOOKING FOR MY ADRs THE PAST 2 TRIPS! :mad::headache::furious: I have no explanation as to why it spontaneously stopped working.
 
We're almost to our 180 day mark, so I'm closely watching this. For those who have had problems booking online, did you then end up calling Disney Dining? or did you call DVC MS?

I'm wondering which would be the best to call to get our ADR's set up quickly if I do have problems online.

I had similar issues last month booking our ADRs for April. I wound up calling after getting totally frustrated- I tried iPhone, iPad and computer. I think I've decided I'm going to call from here on out. It was so easy. I got everything I wanted including BOG, Ohana and Le Cellier. And the CM was really nice. Everything was in MDE right away too.
 
I called Disney dining! I agree, it was super easy and fast but one of the calls I had a very chatty cm. she was really nice but super chatty and I was trying to get in the big ones first so then I could relax and chat with her :)
 

I ran into similar issues and ended up calling at 7 am and then again later that evening to move around a few things. The CMs were very helpful and I was able to secure all of the reservations I wanted for my May trip, so do not lose hope if you experience difficulties booking reservations online!
 
Just realized that when I booked online, I only put in myself & my husband's names, rather than to take the time to put in the other 4 names, ages, etc, for the rest of the family members who will be traveling with us. So right now the resv shows only 2 people in our 2 bdrm villa, when in reality, there will be 6.

Will I be able to make 180 +10 ADR's for 6 people, when our resv currently only lists 2 people?

So right now the resv shows only 2 people in our 2 bdrm villa, when in reality, there will be 6.

Email MS with the names for each reservation. They will update your reservation.
 
We hit the same issues with 180+10 for a split stay in May. No issues booking online for the first 7 nights at 180 days but unable to book anything for the second half of the trip more than 180 days out.
 
Thanks for all the replies! I know they say that misery loves company, but it's really so disappointing that so many of us are having problems with this.

I do have a question: for those of you who said you called to book your reservations and got everything you wanted, were you trying to book things like BOG or CRT? I'm just worried that we devoted DVC'ers are actually in a worse spot than others when trying to book hard to get reservations. Again, we weren't looking to book anything like that, but I am just wondering for those who are.
 
I had the same thing happen to me when I went to book mine last month. Very frustrating when you get up early and waste time on a system that should work. Even more frustrating is the fact this still hasn't been fixed. I had this problem over a month ago. Thankfully I was able to book everything I wanted including BOG and 8 am crystal palace. I am going in April so I was worried BOG would have been unavailable by the time I could call.

I tried different browsers, cleared my cookies, tried on my laptop and the app, nothing worked for me. I called IT and they acted like it was an isolated issue. Obviously not.
