Ugh. I'm stuck.

i did alge 2 and geom as a sophomore together. geom 7th period, alge 8th.

and this year i dont have any math.

I don't need a math this year, I'm well over my math credit requirement (and my science requirement) but I'm taking it anyway. We need 9 math credits and I have 12 (going to be 14) and 9 science credits and I have 12 alread, and that will be 14 as well after this year. I'm waaaaaay over my social sciences requirement, though. You need 12 and I have over 20. You need 80 total to graduate and I'm going to leave school with over 95.

I feel so stupid now.I need to get back to school pronto.
And then I'm gonna tell the math teacher to focus on Algebra ONLY.

When I was reading Patti's answer I tried doing it myself..
With a calculator.
Ahahaha.
I forgot to simplify when multiplying the .5w X w.
I forgot it made a root.
I totally forgot.
Yeah, I wasn't thinking.

I usually suck at geometry. Honestly. I got like...a 52 on my final exam in that class. But I'm really quite good at stuff involving algebra. It was the proofs and theorems of geometry that killed me. Math calms me. It's this odd thing. I wouldn't consider doing it as a career, but just the numbers are simple and I dunno. There's something about doing a math equation when I'm stressed that just calms me down.

But that's gonna be our little secret. Everybody else thinks I hate math with a passion.

My school actually prevents us from graduating early. The earliest you can graduate is a quarter early. Economics is only open to seniors. You must have senior class standing to take that class. Otherwise, I could have fixed my schedules of previous years to graduate early. I'm waaaay over my requirements in everything. And I could have taken civics online last year, but the guidance office screwed up. So I get to take it online this year!

But anyway....

Math. Yeah. I wanted Physics, but I wasn't going to give up Anatomy. (that's my failed attempt at staying on topic...)

I like math once I get it.
Algebra, I find it fun to do once I figure out the trick to doing it properly everytime.
Especially when I encounter a new type of problem and figure it out on my own.
It's both extremes for me. It's either the most annoying thing in the world, and sometimes it GASP fun.

Geometry.

I've thought myself into a box here.

My question is:

The length of a rectangle is half the width. The area is 25 square meters.

would be the length 3.5 and width 7? idk gl :) umm m7.01 and 3.566?

this is not possbile try that for a answer

I'm in some crazy calculus/ linear algebra class this year. I'm kinda scared. Everyone I have talked to, says its extremely difficult. The linear algebra isnt what you would typically expect. It comes after some calculus classes.
