Ugh. I think our foster son has H1N1

We went camping up at the lake this weekend, DH, me & DS14. We just got home to find that our 23yo foster son, who lives with us while he's in college, has had a fever over 103 for the last 2 days, a bad sore throat, body aches and vomiting. He still feels very bad, but I was able to get some soup in him.

Ya'll cross your fingers that we don't get sick with this. I'm cleaning everything and Lysol-ing like nobody's business. DH has stage 4 lung disease and chronic pericarditis. I just dread the start of winter every year because of fear of him getting the flu. Every time his lungs get inflamed(for whatever reason) his heart gets infected and he ends up in CCU.

Ugh.

I would call your DH's dr and get him some Tamiflu so if he starts with symptoms he can start taking it ASAP.

Yeah, that's what I suggested to DH, but he's blowing me off, saying "We don't even know if its H1N1?" What?? He has all the symptoms! As far as I'm concerned, it's H1N1!

If he has already been sick for 2 days, then he is past the point where they will give Tamiflu. It needs to be given in the first 48 hours.
