We have decided only a Disney wedding will do. She lives in the UK and I live in Texas. She has never been to Disney but has always dreamed of coming. I have been 18 times in my life even though my last time was back in 1996, I have been gone from the Wonderland wayyyyyy too long. We are about a year way from our planned date. We have decided on a late April wedding in 2007. We have done all of our planning between each other, maybe that part of why we are ready to pull our hair out. Since we are a lil over a year away we don't have an EM or CM or any of that yet and from what it looks like we wont for another 4 months. I guess we are so stressed at the fact we have pretty much nailed down everything we want in our wedding/reception but until we actually talk to someone from Disney we don't really know if or how it will all work out.Counting the bridal party we will ahve around 7 or 8 children which might make it a little harder on planning. We have decided that under no circumstances will we change our wedding from a morning one as we want to use an EPCOT pavilion. As such we are having to decide the best way to plan the rest. We have thought about a brunch just so no one really loses the mood or magic of the wedding but at the same time we think that most will not be overly excited at it not being the best time to drink at 11 am and not really being really awake enough to dance or anything yet. Plus we want the kids to be able to take in some of Disney with the characters and such. So we have thought about a character breakfast after the wedding just so everyone can have some fun and the kids can interact with some of them. We have thought if we do that we might pick a pavilion in EPCOT to have our reception/dessert party/Illuminations. How and if that can work we will only know after talking to someone from Disney. That way we can have our dancing and music and such then. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas we would greatly appreciate them. Also if anyone has suggestions on how to get 50 people from other lactions to Disney without a huge hassle it would also be appriciated. Since most of my family coming would be from Texas that would only be looking at ways to make sure they got rooms that we could make sure they could pay for and be happy with. The main travelling issue would be that since she is from the UK how many people of her family that want to come can actually come.

Im having an epcot wedding too, and they let me sign the contract up to a year, Im in the same situation with the planning, because we haven't sent the contract yet. Its like I want to know everything, but there's no way to exactly find it out. I wanted to wish you good luck, and happy planning!

Not really getting married anytime soon ( as it's been 11 yrs and 4 boys later) but I thought I'd toss in my 2 cents. I got married at 10:30 in the morning and let me tell you...anytime there's an open bar people have no trouble drinking alcohol no matter the time of day! In fact, I got compliments on how great the day was b/c people got to drink early and for the good part of the day! ( Is that a good thing?) Anyway good luck with your planning. It's a wonderful time in your life and don't lose sight of yourself! :flower1:
