Ugh. Ddp and split stay possible hassle?

We have the dxddp for one night at ASMu and another at Pop, last minute trip and all that we could get onsite with the ap discount. I'm not concerned about the moving, we have only carry on suitcases and a car and will be in the room only to sleep. I planned to check in ASMu in the morning and use one credit each for brunch and dinner. That would leave us one TS credit from that reservation. Our next meal is the CP dining pkg lunch but this is 2 credits. I did plan on checking into Pop in the morning but now I'm concerned the credits are going to get messed up. Should I pay for the CP package with the new Pop mb and save the remaining credits from ASMU for dinner that night? I guess what I am asking is are the credits differentiated per mb?

Dining credits are not separated by magic band. Nothing is actually stored on the magic band. It is just a link to your MDE. Credits are however separated by reservation. While I haven't done a split stay with Dining Plan personally I have read all over the DIS that dining credits from the first reservation need to be used up before you start using dining credits from the second reservation. I'm sure others with more personal experience will weigh in soon. Have a great trip.

How many people are in your party? If you have an even number, then you can use one plan to pay for half your table and the next plan to pay for the other half.

If you have an odd number of people, you’re going to have problems.

Thankfully 2 people. I did think of that option. What do I say to the cm at bill paying time....? I don't know what they actually see when they scan the band so not sure what to tell them.

Tell them you need separate checks up front. You might need to complete the entire payment process for one first before you start paying for the second.
