ugh colds!

Just my luck...the girls are developing colds ! My youngest started with an annoying cough and the oldest is sneezing and stuffy ! Summer colds !!! UGHHHHH We leave for WDW on sunday, any tips on how to minimize the cold and knock it down a bit. I just worry about it getting worse and having them totally not enjoy the trip I sure hope its fast passing. Why is it that the only time my kids get colds or other bugs is when special events are approaching...it never fails for Christmas, Birthday's.....its like I am being punished by the immune gods!

We tend to have the same luck with illnesses and special events. We've had good luck with complete rest. They pass the time with video games, etc.

it also depends on your views about medicine or whatever, but here is my two cents...lol.. Lemon tea is really good and so is that medicine called ColdFx.
Not sure what they have for kids, but i think it is called Airbourne.

We use Ziacam for ours, the swab, not the spray at first sign of cold. I swear it makes it last a shorter amount of time, like 3 days. Run and get some!!!

Lots of liquids too, of course!
