UGH! Another ? about those passes!

I bought our passes, buy 2 get 3 days and 2 kid tickets free.
We were suppose to go in April.
well a problem has come up and we may not get to go. What do I do? are these tickets returnable? I had them mailed to me. Plus if we don't get to go chances are we won't be able to go till next year which then makes my DD 10.
I am so bummed right now...I hope everything works out....but............
They said the tickets are only good till Dec. But it doesn't say that on the tickets.

But they said they were only good only until Dec. 2006. Is that not true? Also she will be past 10. The tickets look the same but do have 2 that have the same numbers and the other 2 have different numbers but are the same. Which I would think means, 2 adults, 2 kids tickets. The ticket itself looks the same.

She will be able to use it and they will still be good after Dec. 31.

If there is any question about her age, Guest Services can pull up the purchase information and see that you ordered it when she was still age 9. You can explain about your trip being postponed. But honestly, I doubt they will even question you when she uses it.

jersygrl, I am not planning to sell them but thanks for the offer. I still have hope and then talked to DH about it that if we can't go when planned we will have to go in the fall. So one way or another I will be there! LOL!

my question is along the same lines as the OP.....i'm buying 2 adult passes & getting the 2 kids for free along w/ the 3 extra days. we plan to use the 2 adult passes & 1 child pass in may. i will have 1 child under the age of 3 at the time of our trip....can i save that child ticket & use it in the future?

also, will she still get 3 days for free or will it just be the 2 days/2 parks?

Why does website say they expire in Dec? I have a friend who wanted to buy them, but isn't going till january- she couldn't afford to lose her money on those.... If I knew for sure they'd still be good....

She shouldn't buy them if she is nervous about it. It's not worth losing sleep over worrying about your purchase.

don't buy the tickets then. wait until 2007 and see what promo comes up then.

my tickets do not list an expiration date. i would not be surprised if the ones you pick up at the kiosk start having an exp date printed on them.

remember the rush for the buy one adult/get one child free pass?
no designated age of adult/child was printed on those tickets until it was abused. remember it was posted universal would be marking them this month......... don't know if that has gone thru or not at this point as no one has come back here to post about it.

it would be very nice if the people that posted about these issues prior would come back and let us all know how it went. posters ask questions and without any closure to it, newbies come and ask the same questions regarding tickets, etc......

if you have concerns about buying the tickets, don't buy them.
there are some questions we just do not have the answer to.

Some current info about the tickets:

I just returned yesterday from a Universal trip with my girlfriend and her two sons (ages 8 & 11). We bought online, for kiosk pickup:

- 3 adult 2day/2park+3days free+FREE kids tickets
-for buying the adult tickets, we recv'd 3 kids' 5day hopper passes, but only used 1, for her 8yr old son.

Picked all 6 tickets up from the kiosk, then proceeded to the gates. I asked the ticket taker at the gate if I could hang onto the other 2 kids passes to use for my own daughters (6 and 8) when they come to visit this summer from their mothers' house. She said that would be fine.

Does this mean that ALL tickets purchased together under this promo DO NOT have to be used together?

Universal ticket takers made ALL of us Print/sign our names on the backs of the tickets on the first day, and on the 2nd day made GF and I sign our names to a Ledger sheet with a lot of other signatures. Boys' sigs were never requested again after that 1st use. And no signatures req'd the 3rd and final day. Wish I could understand the logic.

Also, all tickets look identical, as shown below. No expiration date printed, and no indication of whether you're holding an ADULT, or CHILD ticket. Makes me wonder if one (or both) of the tickets I have left could be used as adult passes. (FYI: They never even asked the age of the 11-yr-old in our party, so possible they assumed him a child (3-9) when we went throught the gates the first day, which would leave me w/1adult&1child ticket unused.)

What do you guys think?

Hope you don't mind me asking - I am going in December & looked at the website (3 adults & 1 child wanting 2 day/2 park passes).

with the offer it seems I can't have the tickets delivered - kiosk pick up only is this right?

Also if I get free kids tickets can I give the 2 spare ones away on the day to another family or can it only be used by your own family?

You can save the tickets. They don't all have to be used at the same time.

Please don't give them away to strangers at the gate. Your tickets could all be confiscated. Save them for a future trip.
